Alright, here we go. Here's my further updated scene. Again, I'm never closed to criticism.

Tried both ways - moving them off into the valley left the right side barren, so I did the other variation and voila! Once again sun vs sunless. I should point out that I did some colour corrections and grading in Adobe After Effects, both to make the sun work and to correct some errors caused by my print screen. I uploaded the original image along side the final 2.

PS. I also played with the scale of the buildings to give some more depth.

Wait, are you suggesting I position them so they move off into the valley? Or to the side of the right mountain? I'll try both anyway. Thanks for the feedback!

Well, I can't make appealing destroyed city terrain with this just yet, so I decided to make this with the Korhal wastes tileset, If that's allowed. Not meant to be a huge contribution, I just got an idea to make something like this and... the rest is history. Also uploaded it with a fake sun.

Wow, with that, I can see how Mengsk's palace can make for some great skylines... unless it's overused.

Say, Neb, what skybox did you use for that awesome screenshot?

Hmm, I've had trouble with this tileset for some reason. I'll wait to see what the community makes of it - maybe give me some ideas!

Here's my contribution! Sorry if the top right of the map looks a bit empty, this week has been my bane; I had not the time to fill that part in.

(Images numbered from left to right, like how you read a book)

Image 1: The map in its entirety

Image 2: The first room, in the bottom left

Image 3: A closer look at the same room

Image 4: The large bridge in its entirety

image 5: The bridge as seen by exiting the first room

Image 6: The background to the right of the bridge - any tips on how to make this area and the area in image 7 more interesting would be appreciated

image 7: The background to the left of the bridge

Image 8: A small laboratory to the left of the bridge

Image 9: A small laboratory to the right of the bridge

Oh man... I had a map ready to show, but after seeing the creations of those who already contributed I've decided to go back over my map and change it. Really awesome stuff you guys! My map should be here by Saturday or Sunday.

All done! Man, that was almost too easy...

Just kidding. I'm posting some screenies from the campaign here for reference.

I too love the new cliff models, to easily add some quality to your maps. Remember to always look at how they used assets like these in the campaign, so you can be inspired to create more with them.

Hey Moz, could you make the next WTE have something to do with an installation? I've recently fallen in love with the Umoja tileset, and would love to see the communities approach to creating a cleaner environment.
