I've been redirected here from r/starcraft after I posted the following over there:
"Is there anyone besides Korean speakers? I had high hopes for the remaster, but Blizz haven’t even lifted the string limit, so I now feel that mapmaking is a lost art. And make no mistake: it is art! I’m still hoping that there are interested people, it’s just that they’ve scattered. I have some cool ideas, but no creative rivals to keep me motivated, and to test things with. I wouldn’t call it creative fervour, but I’d like to indulge now and then. If you’ve never done it, but would like to try for whatever reason, I can explain things. Though I’m not a master and I don’t use EUDs."
I had a brief look through the forum but I haven't seen anything related to the old StarCraft.
