I love sc2 and mapmaking and I've decided to start learning how to do custom models. So I think this is the place to ask for opinions and tips on how to do a decent sc2 model, texturize it and animate it.
I've just started helping Colt556 in his Halo Wars Map
But now it doesn't and then came here and tried what BorgDragon has on the attached map but to no avail. I'm attaching some pictures in case anyone can help.

I have one ability, instant effect, target on "caster", it uses a switch effect to cast one of several search effects with a validator each. This search effects then apply an "apply behavior" effect on the caster, for each one I have one different behavior.
The validator must be like: If 2 to 6 enemies in area (10 radius), then fire search effect with apply behavior of like 5 seconds duration. If 7 to 12 enemies in area then apply behavior of 10 seconds or so..
@li5445: Go If it has data requirements and your opponents can build it, it must be a requirement issue. Maybe you do the requirements fine but there's an alias or something your opponent makes or if you can train it from several buildings in one you didn't set the requirement right?
If you attach the map with the requirement I can check it out and help you. You don't have to put in the unit or anything, just the requirement.
I've got an ability casting a behavior on the casting unit, this behavior must change it's duration based on the numer of enemy units surrounding the caster unit. Lets say if 1 enemy in 10 radius behavior lasts 1second, if 2 then 2s, etc.
Now I understand I probably need to make a switch effect with all apply effects and each behavior with different duration in case I wanna make different effects for the behavior too.
What I still can't get is the validators too work, I'm using one type named: CValidatorLocationEnumArea or something but I can't seem to figure how to make each effect to only fire when the desired enemies are in the area.
I'm trying to make a unit behave as the changeling once it disguises as an enemy, the unit won't morph but won't be attacked by enemy units like the changeling.
It won't work to simply make it invulnerable as I want only zerg units not to attack him. I though using the changeling disguise stuff but could only find a "mimic" effect and if I add it with a behavior (current ability is instant apply behavior to caster and behavior has periodic mimic effect) it doesn't work.
Any ideas for the changeling? Something I missed? Any other way to do it?
Hi, I'm making a custom ability, casted on a target friendly unit, it applies a buff for shields and then jumps to another friendly unit with a search effect (this one has a max target count of one). But it most jump only to up to 5 friendlies. How do I achieve that?

I don't know if I should make it with separate volumes or just one, since the first model is the wraith it has few animations.

@li5445: Go Ok, found it, on the requirement you had:
And:
Count Dark Shrine Completed
Count Fleet Beacon Completed
Equals:
Count Void Ray Queued or better
Constant: 0
Small mistake, I don't know why, but if you put Equal it can be bugged, just change it to Less or Equal to 0 and you'll be fine.

Even worse necro, but I have the same problem as Domper had but I can't seem to fix it, I used this tutorial's technique as it used to work:

Hello, It's me again.
