    Hello DrSuperEvil,

This information did not help me find a solution.

I still cannot have the custom hotkey working with a new ability to build structures.

I also tried to set the Hotkey Alias to "SCV" instead of "MyCustomSCV" but it did not work.

posted a message on [Question] How to not lose custom hotkeys after a unit duplication

    Hello SC2Mapster community,

I'm Alstrice, a passionate player of Starcraft 2 since 2010.

I am currently learning how to make arcade maps for 24h, the passion is so big that I have not slept yet !
I am making a training map to improve ladder skills and I have a problem.

Here is what I want to do :

I want to duplicate the SCV data to make one that have limited abilities (that can only build supplies and bunkers).
When I do that and try my map, all the hotkeys are set to default instead of the custom hotkeys from the user. (FYI I use the hotkeys from TheCore and default hotkeys are NO GO for players like me).

I think this is because the hotkey file only overwrite the 'classic' SCV unit and not the duplicated one (even if every aspect of it links against the 'classic' SCV).

How could I manage to keep the overwritten hotkeys from the SCV ? Must I not duplicate and change the original SCV for my purpose ?

Thank you very much for your help.
