I also have been looking into making a KOTH 2v2 obs map. I figured out what map would be for best for it but unfortunately have no clue what i am doing trigger wise. I used to make maps in SC1 and BW but this is completely different i believe. I tried copying the triggers from the 1v1 obs such as xel'naga and metalopolis but to no avail. have you figured out the triggers?
