I have done a tool which helps to create bound maps.
I have used it to create a map from StarCraft 1: level up bound, and to participate to the bound contest. The map still in progress but it is almost complete.
So, this is a web-app and it uses canvas from HTML5: http://www.sc2bound.com/ (it means it doesn't work with obsoletes browsers like IE8 and lower)
The website still under construction (in particular the design) but everything is functionnal. You have a FAQ in each page, but ask here if you need support.
Don't forget that even if it looks like a simple grid, a cell can be what ever you want, for example a switch (see the demonstration, level 39).
I will post here when a full tutorial will be ready.
I wanted to do that too, but the Galaxy Editor was really laggy (more than 30seconds of lag) when I pasted code... Importing a file looks like the only way for me.
I will give you the url when the site will be online.
Btw, I´m working on level-editor for my boundmap in java xD
I have done a level-editor in HTML5, the website will be online soon, and it generates galaxy code like those in my map (in the imported file "levels.galaxy') :-)
It is based on the popular map "level up bound" from starcraft 1. There is only 30 levels at the moment but it will reach 100 soon. Notice that "levels" are stored in the imported file "levels.galaxy" in the map, and MapScript.galaxy has been edited in order to include it. Take care if you edit the map of including this file again (because the Galaxy Editor overwrites MapScript.galaxy).
I will release the map on battle.net Europe when 100 levels will be ready.

Thanks, I didn't think it would be so "cool".
Future plans are:
I hope to see more bound maps on battle.net in the future ^^
