    @SoulCarver: I could have sworn when I play WC3 that it moves ranges units to the rear and melee to the front of the formation.

    Has anyone made and/or released anything that uses this feature from Warcraft 3? I would love to add something to my mod that would allow units to group in formations, ie zealots always move ahead of stalkers and sentries . . .

    Stand, and Walk/Fast are listed in Unit Actor's Animation - Baselines. Blend in and out set to -1.

    Not really sure what to place here or what to do! Suggestions of a tutorial would be great!

    I am on one of the final custom units for my mod, and have a small snag.

    The unit is a Tormentor, which is a unit similar to a Terran Predator but for the Zerg. The unit works perfectly, except for the animations. I am using a Zergling model enlarged, but in-game when it moves, its legs don't. It glides along with no real movement.

    I have this issue with one other unit, a Protoss flame unit I made with a Colossi shrunken down. It glides along, legs not moving.

    Any thoughts? Thanks ahead!!

    I was considering making a mod that added Warcraft 3 races (slowly, of course) but I am at a total loss on how to make things like a new race appear under dropboxes all over the place in the editor.

    Any good tutorials for making a race from scratch? I am hoping some of the AI categories I see on units will allow the computer to use them, but if not it will still work for player vs player.

    Links? Solutions?

    posted a message on (Request) Protoss Build / Placement Models

    I don't see a Archon Birth, although ArchonMerge looks nice, going to try that out today. Might work for all the units as Model (Build)!

    I don't see a Warp Prism drop or pickup model. The Warp Prism War In model looks like it would work if I were warping in Warp Prisms. If you can find the exact name that would rock Programmer!

    Basically, I need Art - Model (Build) and Art - Model (Placement) for a probe, Stone Zealot, Archon, and Colossus. I think the ArchonBirth will look good for the build, but the placement ones I could use suggestions or even something someone has made.

    What change would I have to make to allow allies to build their structures on allied creep? My friends and I were commenting on how on multi-racial teams it is hard to give enough room to the Zerg player.

    I searched the forums but the answers were only for how to have Zerg build off creep. Thoughts?

    I made some new units out of a shrunken down probe and collosus. Adding them to the warp gate ability has proven imperfect, since there are no models for those units for the Build / Placement slot. Normally they appear as a transparent version of the unit, but currently units that have no model for this I use the Zealot (Placement) model. It functions, but could look much better for when I release this mod.

    Has anyone made anything for the Protoss units that do not warp in? I think the Archon is missing as well.

    Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    My mod is almost done, but I want to add a few more cool upgrades in there.

    One I was considering is a bonus to resource gathering. Get the expensive upgrade early, but it pays off later in late game.

    1) Possible? I was thinking the upgrade could add an effect/behavior to gather units.

    2) Unbalanced? Cost? I know this is the data forum, but what do people think of this upgrade? Unfair, or a reasonable option? How much should it cost?

    I have made a few new units and enabled some from the campaign, and I can get them to spawn at a gateway perfectly. They are also on the Warp Gate unit / train ability and warp in correctly, but when I begin warping in units with a group of gateways selected, there are 2 counts for warp ins, one for stock units and one for new units. If I spawn a stalker, the number on the stalkers/zealots/sentrys goes down, but the numbers on the biokeneticist/stone zealot/twilight zealot do not. If I spawn a biokeneticist, then the number on the biokeneticist/stone zealot/twilight zealots goes down, and the number on the stalkers/zealots/sentrys dpes not.

    How do I link up those counts?
