i am really getting frustrated with the text-stuff. It seems that, whatever i want do, is possible with strings but not with texts...
I want to get a text (text of a dialogitem) minus it's last letter. Substring-Functions aren't working for texts, converting doesn't work. Any idea if this is possible?
I've been messing around with this for some time now, because it is a really interessting ability. But i am stuck and need to ask the forums: Is it possible to create a validator that checks if i have loaded a SCV? Just found out that i can check if there is any cargo, but not for a specific one.
You need to create a new effect of the type "Set", in which you can store multiple effects. Now add the damage- and corruption-effect to the set and the set to the attack. Done.

After watching the video i realised how often he says "Here come the..." and "How many..." and started laughing EVERY TIME HE DID IT. :D
Tried both. Setting the Animation speed didn't work, it just changed nothing. When using AnimationPlay the actor seems to be lost, so i think i'm doing something wrong. Here is what i have:

i have an effect which creates an actor with the "FeedbackImpact"-Model. So basicly i create the Akteur, when the effect is started and then use an animation bracket which calls the Birth, Stand, Death-Animation. Everything working fine so far.
But i want the animation to be played backwards. The anim-Bracket-Thingie has Time Variant field, but this is set to -1 by default, so this won't be the trick i guess. Any other ideas?
