Do you mean reflect as in something similar to the immortal's hardened shield ability? Or reflect as in a unit is attacked and the damage bounces off of it to possibly hit something else?
I'd advice you to watch the polycount. For example, I see that you use spheres. These can have less polygons. I can't comment much on the overall shape in this early state.
Thanks, yeah I know the poly count is pretty gruesome with those darn spheres :P
But I did remove some of the unnecessary edges, and I used the optimize modifier which helped a bit. BTW I love your snowspeeder dude.
I'm using 3ds max right now. Right now the legs are done and I'm starting to work on the texture which is one of my weak points but hopefully it'll come through.
I've never really gotten into making models before this but this is what I'm currently working on, and hopefully, finishing. There is still alot to do obviously like add the legs, texture and animate but I just wanted to at least show the progress I've made and see if anyone has suggestions regarding the machine's geometry. Also I realize there needs to be two more frontal cannons :)
I've finally started to get comfortable with 3ds Max and I'm looking over models blizzard has made for scII and warcraft 3 just to get a feel for how they work. But a major underlying problem I have at the moment is if I was to take the marine for example, convert it to an editable mesh, and select and move one of his polygons to distort the model, ONLY that polygon is moved. It is almost as if each and every piece of the model is detached and unable to be shaped. Can anyone give me some guidance on what I should be doing?
I have another problem. I need to tint the color of the wraith's burst laser although it doesn't appear to be possible. I know how to tint projectiles, I've done it with others. But for some reason the actor isn't liking it too much. Can someone verify that it isn't possible?
Testing out a simple trigger I rigged up without all the sdkljasklh of my other trigger. It worked in creating a unit on map initialization. I'm on the right track, I'll post if I get it.
Edit: I got it working, I'm not sure what was wrong with it but none the less it works now. Thanks for the help anyways!
The array is [15] and testing it I'm Local Player which I assume is player 1. The unit type is defined within the trigger as being a marine before creating the unit aswell.

Absolutely loved that map. I would love to be apart of a project in it but my god that's just too much work for me to be interested in.

Yeah I'm pretty much stretching my knowledge right now to be honest :P

Ignore the color variation, it helps me differentiate parts easier.

The actual model is done, if you're talking about the animations and bones and tedious stuff like that then it's not done :P

I haven't come across anything like this. I can see the use though.

Let's say I already set Unit Type[Triggering Player] = Marine
If (Used dialog item) == Buttons[12]
Then
Unit - Create 1 Unit Type[(Triggering player)] for player (Triggering player) at Command post 1 facing (Position of (Triggering unit)) (No Options)
^Why would doing something like this give me an error of this:
"Trigger Error in 'gt_HeroSelection_Function': Could not get 'Unit type' from parameter in 'sUnitCreate' [Value: 0]"
When using an action such as this would be doing the exact same thing except without using a unit type variable.
Unit - Create 1 Marine for player (Triggering player) at Command post 1 facing (Position of (Triggering unit)) (No Options)
My problem comes from the fact that I need to use a unit type variable, I can't just select which unit is to be created.

Thank you, problem solved.
