I've been lurking the forums for quite a bit, and I see all these tutorials, API Docs, Wiki, etc but I don't even know where to begin. So I want to know if I could get a general direction of what to read, etc.
I haven't touched a map editor since Starcraft 1(which the last time was a few years ago).. Made a couple maps for SC1 that became popular, but I know the Galaxy Editor is a huge upgrade to the editor of Starcraft 1.
My main objective and goal is to make a map based off Chrono Trigger, not the same exact story line, but a general concept. So I'm looking into the direction of turn based battle system(As seen in the Final Fantasy maps) and items, stats, etc.
I appreciate the time, and any effort given will be greatly appreciated!
