Well yeah, I mainly meant single player, It'd probably run really slow on battlenet, or maybe just not work at all. I've already played a few of those 3rd person shooter maps (freaking awesome, btw), this was mainly just about using the cinematic models. I guess I could just try to make higher-quality models on my own and import them into the game.
I had an idea, and wanted to know if it's actually possible, regardless of how difficult it may be:
Would it be possible to create a sort of 3rd person shooter game in Starcraft 2 using the Story Mode character models? I realize that it would probably require a lot of modding outside of the Editor, seeing as how custom animations would probably need to be created for the character. But could the SM character models theoretically be used to create a shooter?

I have pretty much no experience with scripting, so it comes as no surprise to me that I can't get this to work (cuz I'm a noob. XD)
Anyway, I followed your instructions, but I keep getting this error:
Script failed to compile: Syntax error (See Trigger Editor for more details)
And then it highlights: lv_traceHeight = Tan(lv_pitch) * lv_traceDistance * (-1);
What's the problem and how do I fix it?
