Well, it wasn't like that originally. But yeah, your current trigger is off. I don't know what the original problem is, but you've been getting some bad advice. Of course if you do 'if switch = 1, create unit and set switch = 2, and then if switch = 2, create unit' will do both at the same time.
I simply cannot figure out how to make a levelable version of the Zealot Charge ability. My attempt to make it into an Effect - Instant didn't work at all. What do?
Sounds like you're doing it right. But make sure that you set the boolean back to false after you do the 'if boolean is true' trigger so that the event doesn't keep on occurring repeatedly.
Has this been fixed? Because checking the code that produced the error, it does seem like the problem is with the Switch command for the Trigger; it uses a certain variable to store the value that is being checked against, but the variable that is used for the second case isn't the same variable as the one that's supposed to hold the right value.
I can't figure out where I'm supposed to figure out what the syntax error I keep getting from this trigger is. It tells me to look in the Trigger Editor, but I see no information about it.
Whenever I want to modify how an ability works, I'll duplicate it, duplicate the existing effect, attach the effect to the ability, and modify them as desired. So far so good. The problem is that often, in the process of duplicating, the associated actors/models just vanish. Having the actors stick around is half the point in me duplicating it in the first place, and I kind of need a visual sign that the ability happened.
For instance, what I'm currently doing is creating a levelable version of Blink; at higher levels, its range increases, and once it hits level 3, whenever you use Blink, it creates a mini Psionic Storm at the destination point after arrival. I'll do that with a trigger 'When any unit uses Blink at Finish stage, if Blink count for player == 3, create 'Blink Burst' effect at triggering unit from triggering unit'.
The problem is once I start duplicating the Psi Storm effects, not only are there several different effects I need to duplicate, but once I finish, I no longer have the actors, and can't figure out how to attach them. How do I do that?

Um, because adding Psi Storm (Search) and Psi Storm (Persistent) are really important? You really urgently need to duplicate them.

Gonna bump this, since I am really stuck with this.

I called no one wrong. I was providing advice. You should be more discriminating with your accusations.

Uh, thanks, but that's precisely the problem. Augment-type abilities (like the Zealot's Charge that I'm working with) cannot be leveled.

Hmm. What about the triggers you're using to set the variables to 1/2? Could you post those too? I can't see the problem myself.

Never mind, I figured it out. But can anyone answer this? I found this:

And let me say that I'm asking because my trigger isn't working.

This is an old problem.
Go to to your dependencies and move the Liberty Story (Campaign) to top.

Okay, related question.
Would Ability Count for Player work to get the correct level for Blink here? If not, what method would be best?
