Well after seeing the ghost I played around a bit and got the desired effect. I was using colours that were too dark and getting results like the marine, but I lightened the colour and now it looks great. Thanks for your help!
I was actually hoping for a blend like in my attachment. Is the ghost tinted? If so that's the effect I'm after. It still retains it's original colours but is tinted by the defined one too
I want to overlay the textures of a model with a solid colour, eg purple and set the overlay opacity to say 30%. Is there anyway to do this? I've already had a fiddle with the lighting and color fields for the unit's model but they don't appear to have any effect.
I just checked it out and the attachment point is AMPatternMissileTurret (my unit is a missile turret), which is the same as the original missile turret uses.
@mavreck
The missile actor doesn't appear to be linked to the attack actor, but this is the same as the original

Unless someone uses it as their profession, I'm guessing no lol

Yo dawg I heard you like to remove lines so I'll tell you a way to remove your lines while asking to remove lines while trying to remove your lines

What would be the easiest way to find out what unit group a unit is in (if any?) Assume I have 50 or more unit groups

Thanks, that is what I'm after, only I need the colour to blend with the existing texture, rather than replace it.
The team colour can/cannot be modified, it's not important. The whole unit needs to be slightly colourised.

Ahh it was steps 2 and 3 that helped. Couldn't find that post when I searched. Thanks heaps!
