Can't really help, but been trying this aswell.. Also, you can't really attach a small floodlight to a unit since the area lighted is dependent upon the size of the floodlight
So I'm making a shooter (suprise suprise) and I'm using a movement system that making the hero move towards where the game camera is facing. The Camera is then locked into the unit and can rotate around it to change direction.
WHat I would like to know, is it possible to set the game camera as a certain height and lock it? And Is it possible to disable rotation on the Z axis? :)
I've seen this asked several places, but I have yet to see anyone answer it :)... In certain first and third person maps, people have been successful in making a shooting mechanic that detects collision with units aswell as terrain.
Now I'm working on a topdown multiplayer shooting, sorta like the typical flash zombie shooter game, and for this I need a way to fire projectiles in the direction a unit is facing that will hit a target on impact, preferably also terrain.
Help Would be awesome, and I'm sure I'm not the only one in need of help with this :)

I know it's not what you're looking for but it could be easily done using triggers

Does anyone know how to disable the global light that makes fx walls cast shadow?

Perhaps but that would reduce the size of the spotlight aswell...

This sorta works, but when I do it, the missili explodes automaticly when created, I guess it finds the shooting unit or itself or something
