    well the thor's special ability stuns its target. I just took a look at it and im not sure how it works, but its something to do with a behavior i think. not sure what about the behavior makes things stunned but its worth a shot to mess around with it. If anything you could just apply a behavior that changes his time scale so he does things slower

    Edit: k i figured out how the stun works. make a buff type behavior, and then for the datafield Modification - modify flags, just enable "disable abilites", "suppress movement", and "suppress turning".

    how about for lore-wise just think of it that while borrowed he is resting or meditating, something along the lines of that

    for a new ability,why not try to make it so that for a short duration he gets a huge boost to energy, however after its all spent or times out he cant regen any energy and/or be slowed/stunned for a while

    posted a message on Chain beam attack

    I got a beam weapon to chain hit multiple targets, but my issue is that if the 2nd or 3rd target  dies the attack doesnt find new ones unless the unit attacking stops and starts attacking again. Also it continues to show the animation of the attack onto the 2nd and 3rd, even if one of those is dead.
    any1 got any idea of how to fix this?

    Edit: Forgot an important detail, the attack is continuous(like the voidrays or sentries attacks)

    posted a message on What is range slop?

    Recently there was a bug with one of my units in my map. it was just a modified hellion, however after the patch sometimes it wouldn't attack. i assume it might have something to do with the patch. But to get my point, one of the field values for weapons is "(none)-Range Slop" i have no clue what it does, but it seemed to fix my problem, and im wondering if anyone knows what it actually does?

    why not make it so that blink costs energy to cast? that would solve the no energy cost problem.

    Im not 100% on how someone would make plague, but maybe you can base it off of fungal growth, and just make it an aoe that would apply a behavior that would cause negative fractional regeneration, for example -9.9% for 10 seconds, that should bring the unit affected by it to 1% Health

    for something new, how about give him some kind of stun? "lore"-wise think of it as he uses his psionic powers to mess with other living things psionic powers and makes them go unconscious (i think according to sc lore everything has psionic power to an extent, just that not too many things are good at using them)

    or maybe a searing arrowing like ability from wc3, except psionic spines?, wouldnt really be sure how to get this too work though

    posted a message on Hellion Weapon not working.....

    i was messing around w/ the hellion weapon myself earlier and it was tricky and confusing. and i also had a problem where my new unit with the duplicated hellion weapon wouldn't animate.

    one thing i found that was interesting was that hellions have use a turret weapon (you know when u set a weapon to a unit u can choose a weapon and a turret, well hellions have both) u can try two things, for you unit under "(none)-weapons" set a turret with the weapon, or go to the weapon and then turn off "lock turret while firing" its under "(none) Legacy options"
