I'm not a max expert but I seem to be having issues with my uv maps I cannot get them to relax correctly so I can have a nice flat image to map any tips
Ok job done I got it into game but now how can I get it to show correctly in GE and why do my screenshots in game show only a black screen when I try to get it into something
Ok I'm using max 9 I have made a simple box with edit mesh, applied starcraft 2 material and under (map layers) I applied a starcraft 2 bitmap to diffuse, and selected a simple crate image map I have tried both dds and tga 24 bit. they show up in max just fine I have my maps saved to my desktop under assest/textures. I export the model using the m3 export script with no errors. I opened GE and selected Import then data import files selected the model located in models folder on the desktop also tried without a folder, then selected my dds file and moved it into assets/textures and tried even rooting. tried saving,closing etc but still none of my models import into GE with textures applied what in the world am I doing wrong. I'm a pretty good modeler and would love to supply this community with quality model and texture content. but cannot seem to get passed this issue

has one cannon center top and two multi missle launchers to the left and right on the cannon two tank treads front and one rear wheel

This is a model I put together quickly with a test render has 472 verts I will work on the maps for it now.

of course the texture was made quickly in PS as a test but since I got it working I will pop out some more stuff
