Erm, something the players dislike pops up? So what if people dislike Jesus (oh wait it's already disliked!), Buddha, Flying Spaghetti Monster, etc. What if Africa offends someone? What is we add in a model of Muhammad and the Muslims emails Blizzard? Muslims who doesn't even play the game (no seriously this kind of thing happens)! You're analogy is fairly accurate, but the problem here is the past and the present. Football was never filled with streakers. WC3 and SC:BW was! And I enjoyed some of those games. If you don't enjoy them then why bother joining? Also this is the internet. This is where 4chan resides (though not in SC2)!
That and I'm a strong supporter of free speach. I hate how Blizzard is making shit rules for shitty 12 years olds. Hell I think all 12 year olds who can't handle the things on the internet shouldn't be on the internet in the first place. CYBER-BULLING DOESN'T EXIST. Does my school love to bitch about that.

Recently, I've been playing around with the Galaxy Editor, creating custom units and stuff, and decided that I'd like to try and create a zerg equivalent of the Reaver, using the old Infestor model called 'Fatty'. I tried using the carrier as a reference point for all the effects and things, making hangar effects and magazine effects, but it didn't work out. So my question is, what effects (use Magazine, Release Magazine, Arm Magazine, those types of effects) do I use to create this sort of weapon? I just need some basic information, a decent starting point, or maybe some directions to a tutorial that could help me out. I'd also like to say I'm new to this site, so if this is in the wrong forum section, I aplogize.
Never done it before, too lazy to open editor, but here's what I think:
The carriers has intercepts, those intercepts are the magazine. So use Magazine would be to launch it, Arm Magazine would be to add, Release Magazine would be to get rid of it. Btw someone made a Reaver model in the Art Assets, you should look there. Also have the reaver shoot out banelings then change the models to scarabs.
I havn't looked into Shredder Grenade but go through what it has until you come across what causes the damage (I would assume a damage effect), change the values for the different levels.
I would say animations. If you import a WoW model (one of the more important lore characters like Sylvannas, Arthas, etc) they will have an animations called Spin or Whirlwind or something like that.
You linked the effects wrong, actually you had more things then you needed. What you did is you have the caster use immolation, and it hits the targets, that works fine. But you also made it so the targets getting damaged also casts immolation and thereby hitting your original caster.
How'd that help exactly? How could this stop me opening the map, modifying it and reuploading it as my own (maybe under different name). Of course, the hashsum would be different, but it would be treated as a completely different map.
A Hash code cannot be decoded, you have to brute force your way to see the map. If I remember correctly to open a 64 bit hash code with the best rainbow table software will take a few hundred dollars and 100 gb+ of space (I think I've saw a 256gb rainbow table so it can go even more). If the person has that much money and time to download the stuff then he deserves to see the opened map. Of course there are no solvings to completely close off a map, but using a hash code will get rid of all the noobs who just want to copy.
As for myself, I wholly support open source, though not stealing. Putting effort in to find a map and figuring out how to open it is one thing (and if you can achieve that then you should see the map for your efforts) but posting an already unlocked map is another (unless its by the author himself).
I have a unit that employs 2 behaviors with each a search area. One search area finds enemies and apply a debuff to them. The other search area finds allies and apply a buff to them.
The Search filters are as follows:
DeBuff Search Filter
Required: Visible
Excluded: Self, Ally, Neutral, Missile, Item, Invulnerable
The Buff works as intended and does not apply to enemies; however, the debuff applies to both enemies and allies (my own units around the source gets it as well) . How do I make it exclude my own units?

In the WoW Model Viewer, go to Export Options and change the names of the animations to:
Attack ,Attack 01 ,Attack 02 ,Spell ,Spell 01 ,Spell 02 ,Walk ,Death ,Birth ,etc
Theres an whole list in the actors when you select animation I think.

Best way of doing it in my opinion is: export model to an modeling program, add in an animations. Use animation while flying.

Export it to some 3d modeling program (can you export a .dds?) change animations there. You're good to go.

So that it doesn't give random people 5 minerals every second.

You can do a similar thing with the data editor and use a behavior to change the damage.

There's a button on the top alone with 4-5 others. Clicking it turns your GUI view into a list view, which is a lot less laggy.

Shredder Grenade 2
Shredder Grenade 3
I havn't looked into Shredder Grenade but go through what it has until you come across what causes the damage (I would assume a damage effect), change the values for the different levels.
Add them into your Hero Learn.

Use this list:
Ability: Immolation -> Effect: Immolation (Caster) -> Behavior: Immolation (Caster) ->
Here's where you messed up, link the behavior to the search area not the target
Effect: Immolation (Search) ->
Uncheck Players in the Search field
Effect: Immolation (Target) -> Behavior: Immolation (Target)
Make sure the behavior is not linking to any other effects or behaviors.
