    You dont want too much going on in a stand animation :/ What hes got is fine. Otherwise she will start animating some random leg animation then pop to running which will look stupid in third person. Also do you lean back and forward when you stand ? Look at wows stand animations for example the only actual random moment they do is moving round one shoulder like a stretch sort of thing. You done see there character move there legs or lean back and forward.

    Also she wobbles back and forth which is a little strange :P looks drunk. Maby animate her mouth breathing a little too. Again this is just polish and not really needed as most people wont care xD . Think were just being picky.

    yeah no plug-in for maya so pretty much what I have to do is create it in maya then export with this strange program that converts the Maya file to a Max file. Not sure what its material cross overs like but I know shaders well in Max thanks to having to learn particle effect system in there. Like the worst particle billboard system in existance I may add but it sort of works.

    Ps. I cant see a Maya plug-in being released since it uses mel : / Also not as many people in games use Maya. However Maya is better for animations that's why dice used it on mirrors edge as im aware.

    Oh heres a shot of what im currently working with. My mechs all in bits for unwrapping.....It De-evolved. Not very interesting but may as well post it start to finish :) Also always nice to have pictures in threads....Even if they are just gradient colours x) Also ignore the smoothing groups atm

    Need more fractals imo . Sigs are all about the fractals. Grab some random anime character , chucks some glowing fractals behind it put a glow on the character and bam you have a sig xD.

    I used to make sigs too though ! I used to like making them for some reason -_- . I made over 20 for my Warhammer online guild!

    Haha yeah just wait man .The reason I do higher poly is to use up un used texture space : ) its easier to have lots of little pieces and keep them high res than large chunks that cant fit onto your uvs :P

    But again just wait. I can always reduce after I texture it. However I cant increase if it doesn't look detailed enough.

    If i moved the torso forward would that balance it ?. Currently the middle of the torso is at the ankles center. If that doesn't work I could try make the legs shorter . As it may run really funny ^^

    Alright ill work on shortening the legs . The more I look at it the more its annoying me haha .

    Thanks for the reply . Yes I was getting the feeling this mech was rather impossible :P Any ideas how to change this before I unwrap it ? I cant really beef up the joints because the rig our team is using cant handle it as im aware X(.

    Its actually at number 2# now x(

    Why not log into your account in starcraft 2 and just report the map . Theres a report copy right button. Im sure if you just link them the making of your map and what not and say the creators name has been changed to HYDRO or whatever they will sort something out.

    If any body wants a few spell icons painted up I could give it a go (if there's no spell icons in the game that suit your spell). Just send me a pm :). I like painting up spells ;D

    Haha i would agree on the thin part . I will have to see it in game once im done . However this is a light mech with the armor of a pea so its ment to have little spindly legs to dash round on :P.

    They may be almost to spindly though..

    update:

    Heres the latest model. I still need to add a little more detail to the main torso peice thing. Also there's a underbelly part to the mechs torso . This will have a turret that can spin 360 degrees.I will model this tomorrow though .
