Just a note, the triggering player stops working at the point where I try to implant movement to players.
I changed some of the stuff from triggering player to Owner of UnitTriggering player as shown aswell and that did nothing. What im trying to do is to get all those globals into arrays, Setting player units is as far as im concerned working correctly as testing online is applying cam/unit settings to those individual units. Cam also works as im using default camera set to an array from each player.
Sounds like it would be pretty cool and unique at that. Give it a shot, and see how it pans out. I'm pretty new to using Galaxy Edit(well since from beta) but Id def take a look at how maybe you could set variations of flight levels and have units respond in that direction.
But hell, there could be a better way.@Protomancer: Go
Yea, I was thinking of doing something simular, and maybe tying it into that style that Alien swarm uses on steam.. for a top down view... but id still want to use keys to and mouse locations for the actions.
Actually id modify it a bit and make it so W always moves to youre mouse location and S away from mouse locations while having a/d strafe.... But yea<sub>, cant do that either... lol well, you could but yea..@Protomancer: Go</sub>
Doing third person view/fps view is easy honestly, now if you mean from the world world view.. yea I dunno how well that would pan out, but im sure you can do it by using/modifying flying params.
If you do plan on doing some sort of weet tps view.. honestly, as much as I want to make an awsome game using that style + controls, its just not feasable at this time. Dont let that stop you though, its not stoping me.@Protomancer: Go
Yea it sucks.. kinda discourages me honestly.. every game people will make, will more than likely be the same old recycled stuff. Were goingg tp be stuck making the same style games, reguardless of how good the games could be they are all going to "feel" the same. To me a big part of a game is how it plays, and if I feel like im playing the game the same way everytime.. well, lets just say the galaxy editor is starting to feel real limited.
Sad thing is, Blizzard showed off alot of the FPS/TPS view style games at blizzcons and comic cons like it was going to be the next big posibility for the editor. While single player games are great, Starcraft and Battle.net are showcases of an online community.. lol, SO I doubt their intention was yea, you can make TPS/FPS styles games for offline.. and if they did showcase that.. well, thats just counter productive.@KratsAU: Go

I Figure if the timer is runing its still an extra thing that doesent need to be runing if its not being used reguardless.. it all adds up specially if you plan on any multi player support.
I guess watching debug mode and seeing timers and stuff going off a ton urks me.@KratsAU: Go

I wonder if you can access the games keybinds thats already set and change them to be something els...
Like A default is issue attack... could we just set a to just issue something els?
Reason why I ask, when im playing the normal game online there is 0 lag with the keys blizzard uses

Yea, I knew that... My goal is just to try and aleviate any player cpu issues and hopefully network issues if very minor.
