    I say submit something. Those screenshots are pretty amazing. Maybe submit something like the AS2 mission in the caves...some pretty sick camera angles and cinematics. Also, I liked the degree of challenge of that map....balancing the destruction of the rocks with managing your base, but you don't have to be a grandmaster to win.

    You should get in touch with that guy Traaysent from Blizzard. He has an account on Mapster. I think he would be able to get your Crimson Moon maps featured on that Arcade spotlight.

    posted a message on Unit gives up on moving

    Hey all,

    I got a unit (cargo truck) that I have programmed to move through out the map picking people up. Unfortunately, things get hairy along the way and a lot of battling zerg happens. Sadly, things get mucked up and the cargo van stops moving, which ruins a lot of my triggers. IS there a way to make this guy not give up after 15 secs of being blocked by me or zerglings attacking it??

    The folks working on that campaign are aware of the bug. I reported the same thing to them a while back. I believe they are going to release a revamped and more bad ass "The Fall" Campaign sometime soon.

    Is there a way to pick the Terran, Zerg or Protoss UI Frame? Perhaps I am confused about what a UI is, but I thought it was the thing with all the command cards, mini map and such in it. I want it to be Terran cause in my campaign you are Terran the whole time. Thanks!

    This will be awesome and should be on the tutorial wiki when it is more complete. I chat with a lot of people who have some interest in making there own campaign. It is pretty overwhelming to come to sc2mapster and find a good jumping off point, not to mention the immensity of the editor. I ended up spending a lot of time watching tutorial videos that really have no usefulness for a beginner level campaigner, eg learning about dialogs. I would say having a programming background is helpful, but like myself, if you just sit down and code, make mistakes and push yourself you will get it. However, if a newbie campaigner had a nice structured list of advice/tutorials, common pitfalls, story production, dedicated alpha testers, then maybe we could boost the scene!

    Wow this is really helpful. I'm working on my own campaign and this is a good starting point to jump off from. I don't have ideas or suggestions at the moment, but perhaps when I delve more into my campaign I will have some.

    Is there something like this for other aspects of campaign making? Perhaps a tutorial or dedicated forum!!!??

    Example: I really want to tell a story in my campaign, but I feel like my first mission is getting really wordy. Is there any rubric/guidelines veteran campaign makers follow.

    Also Red, I saw you made a lot of changes to that first mission in your campaign. That Korhal mission is an AI stomp fest. I'm glad you gave the Zerg some more strength. I just massed those bad ass vikings and just mowed everything down. Beautiful Map!!

    Hey folks,

    I'm at a lost. I want my map to be silent at the beginning of my mission except for the sound of the units movement. I have tried to stop all sounds, stop sound channel, stop soundtrack and combinations of all the options in the actions but with no luck. There is always some music playing in the background. How do I go about making the music stop. Thanks!

    Hey Guys,

    I got a rescue style mission where you are supporting a van driving around picking people up. What should I use to stagger the civilians loading up into the van? I have it where they all disappear at once...when the van arrives at the point, but I sorta want to make it seem a little more realistic by delaying the time of each cilvian disappearing. Any ideas?

    Why insult everyone at Sc2Mapster? Seems like a low blow to the community. Did someone(s) here insult you in the past? I sorta was interested in your opinion, but the negativity is just uncalled for. In the video, TB seemed critical of a lot of Blizzards decisions in the past, even some echoed in the posts here, but is interested in the possibilities of the future. I guess you just wanted to get a rise out of us. Well done, I guess.

    I'm pretty new to this place, but I would disagree that this is a fan boy website. In fact, the criticism of Blizzard is pretty acute here. I've noticed folks being critical of everything from the Arcade set up, the retcons in SC2, gameplay...pretty much everything. However, I think most people here really enjoy playing SC and enjoy the "niche" scene that goes along with it. I only recently discovered he free tools that come along with the game and I think they are pretty fantastic in my opinion. I only paid $40 for this whole thing and I believe it has been a really good deal. Anyways, 15ish years for a video game is a pretty good run imo. Hopefully, it will be another 15 years!

    You should get in touch with gradius or sixen via PM. They seem to know people at blizzards that could get crimson an arcade highlight or permanent posting on SC2 website.
