Looking through both our archives as well as those in game, I feel it is safe to say we are lacking in defensive structures that suit the Protoss. The Terran have a dearth of them, and the Zerg have a decent amount but based on what I have found, the Protoss have... 3, one of which is already in game and the other two are based off of something else (Old Photon cannon and SoulFilcher's ship photon cannon, which was salvaged from a death model). Heck the Xel'Naga have just as many custom defenses and aside from the hybrids and their ruins, they don't even appear in game.
Overall, would agree with the above posters.
There is however a weird bug I would like to report though- I could not access my cursor for the menus. (I had to press enter to access it for difficulty and I had to use hotkeys for the end menu) (I played from editor)
In terms of infiltration, I think it would be interesting if the player was punished a little if they use an infiltration style character and killed everyone, while a brute force style character would be rewarded for doing so.
I was still on the first hero when I took a hiatus, but looking at this makes me want to start it again (and seeing as it is still on my hard drive).
As for your game, I would need a little more information before I make any assumptions. For example Is your counter system closer to the original StarCraft (I.e. 3 armor and weapon types where damage is reduced) or the game you are modding?
I once had a similar concept myself. However, there were notable differences. For one there were workers and the player made use of heroes as more or less mobile factories and dropoff points.
Interesting. Does that mean that Amber Sun's main theme is Revenge and how it can turn you into that which you hate most as shown almost literally with Janus and to a lesser degree, Henderson, with Bayo being that poor smutch who gets caught in the middle and pays for it despite being the most "innocent" among them?
I don't think the Kaal-Ro will be too happy to find out what happened to Janus in the ending. I do however question why the Kaal-Ro were so deadest on killing Bayo in the first place (Mission 3).
By the way, can you include a mission or two where you play/are allied with a different race than the terrans in your next campaign?

This should be fixed.

As I said, I couldn't access my cursor- I couldn't see it or select an option with it.

Wow those two images look cool. Particularly the first one. And the second one- is that a Xe'l Naga Ruin I See?
As for the boss battle idea? Yeah something like safe haven.

I think it would be interesting if you did a boss battle involving the player using a base as opposed to a single unit.

The Bunker monster would be nice to see though.

I noticed your pictures were rather low on Zerg. Care to explain?

I don't know of any, but I myself would appreciate some animations for leaping on that particular model.
