English is a relatively well spoken language in Europe, comparatively, but not to the degree that you'd just be able to walk around using it in every day situations and everyone'd understand you, so if you were planning spending on spending any extended length of time in any specific country, I'd go for their language. French is also quite popular in Europe, although not to the same degree, so if you're planning on going around Europe for some time, through many countries, I'd say go for French. Otherwise I'd go for Chinese, which is probably the hardest of the lot, since its not an offshoot of Latin like most European languages, so you'll be starting entirely from scratch, whereas with European languages you can get a grasp of some things without knowing everything, if you see what I mean. But it's the most spoken language in the world, so its pretty useful to have under you belt. Urg, if I could learn Japanese I'd be all over it, no more waiting for translations on manga and anime sounds like my personal heaven... which probably shows what a varied and interesting life I lead :P
This is much a check to see if there are any as a request... probably more so, in fact, since that'd be a lot easier for all involved... or maybe not, since its unlikely anyone'll make it due to seeing this thread, so I guess its equally hard for all involved either way... this's got a little tangential... back to what I was saying to begin with, does anyone know of, or is anyone able to make, or does anyone know anyone who is able to make, a map along the lines of the old dark ages of warcraft/Azeroth wars strategy/Lordaeron tactics from WC3? I've had a look through the maps on display, but since there isn't really a category that these fit in to, to the best of my knowledge, at least, it was akin to trying to read a novel through a keyhole... kinda. Wow, this is a lot of words to say "are there any maps or plans to make maps alone the lines of DAOW?" isn't it? So yea... that last question... by which I mean the second question, if you want to be pedantic, although both are accurate. Also, the first question is essentially the same question as the second. Golly, aren't I making a good first impression? So yea, that.
