    Because Blizzard made 2 huge errors ( in addition to the MANY other Bnet errors ) ...

    1.1 : They set minor update as an increment of 0.1 ... that is a MAJOR change. A MINOR is 0.01

    1.2 : They say major update as increment of 1.0 ... THAT IS NOT AN UPDATE!!! THAT IS A COMPLETE NEW VERSION!!!

    GAWD, Blizzard has done SO many mistakes this time.

    The only way to change it is to change the name of you map in Map Info.

    The way it is now is like saying StarCraft 2.0 is a major update from StarCraft 1.0 ... but not a new version. Nono, it's the exact same game, just updated a lot. Blizzard fails at themselves.

    1. Automate them to do WHAT?!

    2. Dude, the game HAS a variable with current vespene gas, or else the game wouldn't know how much vespene you have when playing. It's under Player Properties and can be used in any variable that is standard integer.

    posted a message on Need beta-testers for co-op Assault game! 2 or more

    Need beta-testers for my remade map for SC2 : Minigunners Redux ( Europe ).

    There's 13 levels, most have been balance-checked, but since my friends now kinda know HOW and what to do to play the map, that doesn't give me a good pointer.

    What I need to know is really how LONG it takes to play the map on a first playthrough and I need to know around now, because final boss-area and level is gonna be a heeeuuuuge effort to make.

    So not doing that before I know the length.

    I only NEED 2, but of course, can we get a run going with more, that would be great.

    Also, instead of having it check each to minutes, rather set a trigger to modify the numPlayers each time someone leaves. Of course, that makes numPlayers needing to be a global. Maybe not necessary, but I try to keep triggers to fire as rarely as often, since suddenly you have 30 triggers, and it's never good to have them constantly annoy the game. In case you're a complete beginner like me, here's a part of my trigger :

    QUITTER!

    Events

    Player - Player Any Player leaves the game with Any

    Actions

    Variable - Modify %numplayers%: - 1

    ( why do I use the un-needed % ? because I like it that way xD )

    posted a message on Gateway Down error - adding custom music :/

    Whenever I try to add ( a legal I may add ) music-file ( 6MB in size ), and try to publish the map, it comes up with Gateway Down when trying to upload. Is there any workaround for this? I would really like that song, as nothing already in the game fits for a minigunner assault game :/ Basically I just want it at any boss-level, know how to do it, but Bnet pukes whenever I try to publish.

    My gawd, ofc. I can't believe I've been stuck on this little matter so long, and that even just so my stupid pathed allies can use their abilities whilst progressing the levels ......

    NO, Order Unit does NOT work, as they don't contain abilites with targets.

    OK, so I've assigned the Ability Raynor - Toss Grenade to a modified Marine, now named Minigunner Brute. Works just fine as long as it is player-controlled. However, I need the Minigunner to toss the grenade automatically whenever he takes damage ( if cooldown permits ). I've removed the ammo-use of the Grenade and put a 20 second delay instead.

    Man, ONE little thing is annoying me about a quite complex map xD And all I need this for is to get pathed allies ( for beta-testing without being online ) to use their abilities ...
