In Gem TD, the camera can be zoomed in and out with the mouse scroller only. The angle of view stays constant but the distance changes smoothly. How is this done?
I have a map extremely early in development and I do not want anyone to stumble upon it until its at least at beta stages. How do i get a map on the list and only allow me and my friends to test it?!
I quickly threw this together for a sample of my idea for a custom dialog model. As a .dds its about 250kb. How can i get this in as a dialog?
(btw sry the pic is big, how do you import it as a small pic but can be moused over to become large like the rest of the posts? also this is my last thread for the day so no more spam from me)
Wasn't sure if this was a data or art forum question but, i have two buttons I'd like to use that only give a "greyed out" color, however, blizzard has the same buttons with added color in the story mode. Did they add custom colors or is it possible to give them their color in the data editor.
For example, the Goliath "multi-target" upgrade and the Firebats "incinerator gauntlet" upgrade has only a greyed out option in the .dds list, yet they're completely colored in the story mode.
ATM i have about 8 arrays that are VarName[3][16][3]. 4x17x4 = 272 which is greater than 256 which was what I first thought was the max value, yet it still works. When I set the variable seperately they go out of bounds for the space of the trigger, but when I set them using 2 loops and a modifier it works.
If its going beyond 256 what is the max value? If 256 is the max will it bug out in multi-player but work in test mode?

wth... i published it under locked where i cant edit it... then to test that i opened that file and was able to save a change over it. Bug?

Do they? my map is currently 5 mb and its not even halfway done and i need to find any way i can to make it smaller.

It wont show it in the list and I browsed to the correct folder and its saved as .dds what am I doing wrong?
Never mind I found the file.
Well the file imported but why doesn't it show up on the texture list.

There's a function for Created Unit, whats the function for the unit that created that unit? Triggering Unit doesn't work.

I had to change the Effect: Effect + field to change the button its linked to... that makes no sense >.>
