Alright, I found the solution. Go to your actor and instead of using a "create" command in your [Abilmorph*start] morph (as I assume you have), just click the "movie-icon" and choose the highest in the drop-box to the right. If you use the create feature, it creates a unit before destroying the other, putting two units in the same place. It's funny, it seems that it doesn't work with certain units and structures, as I have several upgrades set up the normal way, but had to set this up different.
Well... I set up the whole "Morph from, Morph to, create" "Morph from, morph to, destroy", but the tutorial i watched didn't just have the "Destroy" but "destroy immediatly" D'you know why I can't find that one?
I thought I'd be handing out warnings and bans daily....Like it is on every other forum. But seriously, I can only think of 1 or 2 people I've had to warn. You guys are the best community ever <3 You get a high-five from me.
Haha, our thanks to you for not banning us then!
Anyways, right now I am working on a map called "Infestation Zero" - based on "Vampirism Zero" from Warcraft 3. I'm still in early alpha, I've got very limited features as of now, but I have a feeling that it's going to be a good map. I've actually never laid my hand on any editor before 4 days ago, and it seems that it isn't crap I am creating :P
Is there any ways to decrease buildingtime in SC2? If so, how is it done? I'd like to make a building be built in around 2 seconds, how will I achieve that?
Ohhh, what a fun coincidence. I'm actually in the process of creating a map based on "Vampirism Zero" which I thought was more fun than the Fire edition:) Good to see that I wasn't mistaken in thinking that this map already was in development! :P
It looks great, the terrain look awesome! But a little advice. I know this is still in development, but things like the slayer's name is Gabriel Tosh does not quite look good in my eyes.
It'd be cool if we exchanged info about our maps, I do not posses a mind full of fantasy, and I seem to be in a loss for names. I'd love to see how your's fare. I'm sorry that i won't be able to join your team as I'd like my own map done soon :P Feel free to ask me about my opinion towards some feature, I'll certainly respond! :)
EDIT: By the way, after looking at your videos it seems to me that your "base-areas" as I like to call them, doesn't have much meat on the bones. They seem a little to incomplex, there are too few places to really build a defense as "human".
Hi, I'd like to make a building get income, how do i do that? For example if i used the Nexus for this, how would i do it? I believe it is under the trigger menu, I just don't know where exactly :)
@acidragoon: Go Come to think about it, a 3rd team does sound reasonably good. Let's assume that the original 2 teams are 5v5. Then make the zerg team contain only 2-3 players. Then give the zerg players either limited control over the units or some sort of heroic unit as well (Doesn't need to have the same mechanics like items.) Think of it as giving the zerg players just some random fun whilst upping the difficulty and strategies for the two teams.
Making the game hand out random bonus objectives for the zerg player to do, giving them some kind of abillities or items for their heroic unit would give these players some nice variety from the overall scheme of destroying human villages. At least I think so. It's something to consider.
The salvageable part would fit in well with the zerg player as well. If only the player itself and the zerg players would be able to salvage the vehicles, it would be even more fun for the zerg. :P

I guess it could work to where you are given a fraction of what you spent upgrading a vehicle if it dies. Death does need a penalty.
It would be cool if you were able to salvage you destroyed vehicle for a sum of money. Might be it should be salvageable by the other players too, so it would be a race for the money.

@Slaysem: Go I believe that by "Artifact pit" he means the town in the middle of the map. I don't know for sure :P

Yea, so do I. I haven't found a solution for it, though.

Ok, cool I'll try it out.

What would I do if I wanted to upgrade a structure to another structure via a command car button? :)

Project Warfare is a pretty cool name ;P
By "Change everything", do you change the terrain as well?

Hi, just a quick question.
Is there any ways to decrease buildingtime in SC2? If so, how is it done? I'd like to make a building be built in around 2 seconds, how will I achieve that?

Go to the trigger sub-forum. Bigger chance of meeting people there.

My advice is to post this on the "Project Workplace" thread. Much more peeps there! :)
