Aah very good points there Brood, will see what I can do! All the models are already in the editor, the 'shields' on the side are just deadman's port junk I think it was stretched and custom colored etc. Great contribution on your part btw, I need to start working with lighting and weather effects more.
Heya guys, long time no speak! Been kayaking down the Danube for charity.
Aaaanyway, here is my contribution, got 10 & 36 so decided to go for something a bit different.
An attempt at a trireme with some modern modifications ;)
Nonsense, that's fantastic buddy! First screenshot i was like 'It's alright' by the last one though, and seeing how you'd done the scientists, the windows and the small touches like the doors and fans that have their opposites on the outside, was very impressed!
As some of you may have noticed in the WTE that I've participated in, I can't get many viewpoints of the same object.
This is because for some reason (I'm on a mac if that makes a difference) I'm unable to free rotate the camera in the editor.
Googled it, looked around and the buttons that they say to press (Ctrl + right click) don't work for me?
Am i having a blonde moment and missed something obvious?
Quick question guys, in the editor, how can I get a screenshot of my map at anything other then the normal Editor view? I can't seem to free rotate the camera at all. I'm on a mac btw.
Just uploaded some screenshots of the Before and After :)
Edit: Changed to JPEG :) and thanks for the camera tips guys!
Heya guys, I know it's late, just thought I'd post it here and see what you guys thought! Just joined up and saw this exercise - thought I'd test the water, possibly do the other training exercise later on too :)
