    @DarkRevenantX: Go Agreed. Although the main problem for me is that I can't play certain good maps because everyone else is just playing the top 5/6 in popularity. There is no easy solution to this, my only option when I am really desperate to try a dead, multi-player custom map is to go into popular lobbies and recruit. When people are asked they are usually more than happy to join-in. This brings me to my point, where are the chat rooms?

    Also where are the custom achievements i.e. 'Nexus Wars champion', 'Night Special Forces super-Archon "get an Archon up to 20,000 kills in Night Special Forces"'. And with popular maps like NSF, why is it that with 5,000 games per hour SC2 isn't placing all the players that have completed suicide difficulty together so they can have a crack at impossible, all the newbies together ans so on... StarCraft knows how many games of everything we have played, how long we played them for and what we achieved, why is it not using this information!?

    posted a message on Linking GV integer to trigger Event 'time elapsed'

    I am attempting to write a trigger for spawning one of three groups of randomly selected units at a random time between 180 and 360 game seconds. I have created two global variables with actions in my "initialisation" trigger so set them both to random integers (180 - 360 and 1 - 3). I plan to use these random values to determine when the units are spawned and which units spawn.

    I want to create an event - - Timer - Time elapsed is (global variable 180 - 360) game seconds. Upon selecting the value for the amount of game seconds elapsed, my global variable does not show up in the variables tab.

    So basically, I would like one of 3 unit groups to spawn at random time in the 1st few minutes of the game. Am I going about this in completely the wrong way because I am a total noob? So far I have only made one map with the editor and it was melee, despite going through various tutorials I'm still swimming in molasses here, please help me out.

    EDIT: Found it! - Elapsed time is (Function - random real) I've been staring at the trigger screen scratching my head for an hour now.
