I have kidnapped Mozared and hidden him in a dark cellar. This week's theme shall be Mozared. Pick any of the previous weeks' themes and apply your own special Mozared twist to it. For example, you may wish to create a terrain featuring Mozared... in a prison. Or Mozared... underwater. The possibilities are endless.
Typically when I make a terrain, most of the doodads end up tinted in some way or other. The rocks are often all tinted the same color, as is the same for plants and various other types of doodads. It helps to build up a certain atmosphere.
The lighting is much improved, however the rest of the map is still very plain. You could improve that by doing some more work with your ground texture, such as putting some more rocky textures around the edges of cliffs and perhaps some other rocky patches. Just try to mix up the textures a bit. Also, you could try to add a bit more height variation to the map by adding small amounts of noise to the otherwise flat terrain. It doesn't need to be a big amount of variation, but a little bit can go a long way.
Finally, I, personally, think it could do with a lot more ground clutter. Scatter some rock doodads here and there, and maybe some plants. If you want to keep the amount of plant down for performance reasons, I would recommend placing them close to other doodads, as they will be more noticeable there.

I believe they release stored gas. I think there was something describing how mutalisks are able to fly, and that was the explanation.

I also messed up the number of the WTE in the post. It said #166 and not #167. I'm sorry guys. I tried. Kinda.

Was that... a double post? Sacrilege!

Wouldn't underwater technically be Mozared's natural habitat, given the origin of his avatar?

Weekly Terraining Exercise #167
Hey folks!
Good luck, and have fun!

This thread clearly needs more rocks.

I would recommend that you make this singleplayer. With the input latency, multiplayer FPS games aren't particularly viable in SC2.

Those are some sexy trees.

An impressive necro. Nearly 3 and a half years.

I would guess he has already made a post on the NA forums and is merely asking OP to update the list.

Rain counts as water.
I was trying to get the civilians to be throwing a few molotov cocktails but unfortunately they were not cooperating.

This feels awfully familiar...
That aside, I think that replicating another's terrain would be an interesting WTE.
