    Making a new map that will be named later. Currently it is being tested for balance and such, and some glitches and bugs / mistypes are being fixed.

    I want this map to be as awsome as possible, so i need your suggestions for units, abilities, and such to add in, and of course i will ballence them as needed.

    -The map is a small map where you use ranged units melee units and heavy (short range weapons with melee qualities) to kill your opponites. Its 3v3.

    -Every 15 seconts the behavior Action is applyed to all units (the 15sec starts when they are built, so the time it activates compared to global time, will be different.) for 5 secont, allowing them to move attack, ect. This will make it so that units can have majior advantages or disadvantages depending on when they enter combat, and where. Such as a ranged unit on a cliff that spots a melee as soon as its action stops, and the melee gets his action allowing him to get close and attack giving him a huge advantage.

    -All units get the ability Last action. When activated (has only 1 charge) the unit is damaged depending on max life, but gets action applyed.

    -The map is looking good so far, but getting ideas for new units and abilities is a tad hard :P. Please if you have any ideas or such (title for game, units, abilities, extras, ect) tell me, and if its good, i will apply it into the game. Thank you!

    Im making a new map type, baced apon final fantasy's battle system. You have 1 building that creates units. your units can move only when they get the "Action!" Buff. all units are hit with the buff at certain times allowing them 5 secont of movement, and after the 5 seconts they are haulted. Minerals are given after each action period allowing for upgrade and more / new unit creation. Seince the system makes getting across a large map hard, the map is small. It will be a simple 2 player map untill i start to add and upgrade. A turn by turn basis map can have many glitches, and can be very laggy, but the behavior system allows for ease. This will be a fast action baced map because with only 5 seconts you have to make your moves quickly and try not to make any errors. Im working on it now and i expect a Beta up by the end of tommaro. If you have suggestions or any questions on the systems "workings" feel free to ask! (other maps with the system may have been made but for US realms i have not seen one yet, so im calling it new :P) EDIT: beta will be 6 player (3v3) and lots of aspects have been changed.

    Im going to make a map, but then i got an idea for a REALLY good one, then i got another idea. There all so awsome (opinion) and i cant decide!!!!!! help me lol. what sounds like a reaaaallly fun game to play? BTW you can take an idea and make it happen if you want :P

    1. A game where you gain income and you must use words and word combos to make units at the cost of minerals, objective: kill other players

    2. A rpg where you must work your way from a simple guard into a powerfull lord and destroy your old king, objective: kill the king

    3. A spell wars map that is a battle between the north and south, and you can buy spellcasters and upgrade for better spells, and cooler looks. Objective: overthrow the opposite side.

    4.A seige / defence game where 2 players (with unit spawns and special buildings) use their forces to kill the other team of 4 players that try to defend their base. Objective: Defenders: Last 20min / Seigers : kill the defenders

    5. Six players are each given unique units. they must use timing, micro, evation, skills, and all other tactical advantages to destroy a Terran Mega Base. Objective: Kill the Terran Mega Bace Leader

    6. A R-P (role playing) map that takes place in a jungle. You "harvest" trees to make open ground for you to build structures while trying to please the Volcano god. (Volcano god = player) Objective: None really

    7. A Civilization map. you start primative and must slowly build your way up the tech lvl and reach total domination. Objective: Kill all enemy players

    8. A night of the dead type game, survive for 20minutes of zombie raids, but your building abilities are limited, so you must rely on skill as a tactisian (a tatical thinker)

    Please! If you think one of the maps seems like a good idea please tell reply! after about 10-30min i will tally up the replys and start work on the map :D. P.S. If your a map maker yourself and one of the ideas above seems like a good idea for a map for you to make, go ahead and make a map with that idea, nothing is stopping you! :P

    true, but its going to be different in the way that it's not impossible to last 1 hour unless you play it 80 times over, your base wont be restricted to where the bases are located, and the playing field is different :D

    I'm making a map where, in a city, a comet has crashed on earth and zombies and twisted mutations start pouring out of it. The idea is a survival. Find a nice location to build a base, defend it, and get a command center into a Radio Control center in order to call in a ship to get you out. the fastest it could be done in would be 30minutes. To win: Use the "Call in a Evacuation Ship" To lose: Your captain dies. Sound like a playable map? (I take time to make my maps, so it wont be the idea of will it be good, but a idea of is it a good idea for a game :P) BTW: If you have any ideas for it, post em here and if i add them ill put you in the map with credit, and if its really good i might do a little "more" in the map about you :D

    Im making a map, but im having problems. Usually i would adventure through and find out how to do it (usually takes a good long 1-4 hours) but i want to get this map on route instead of constant stops! if you can help with any of my problems i will give you credit in the creation of the map Back to Arms. Problem: 1. When a marine levels he gets a behavior: Private. the only thing is that the buff does not show on him. Problem: 2. When a upgrade is maxed it is still there!!! how do i fix this? Problem: 3. Im trying to make it so certain units can only be used if someone has entered them (like a bunker) i know how to add the ability to store units, but how do i make it so that the "carrier" cannot move unless it is being "Driven".

    Im in the middle of making a map. I created a center to train units and research upgrades. i decided to test it out, so i went into the command box for the center inside the Data editor and i deleted all i didnt need and added all i needed, hit ok, then tested. when i click on the center the train button for one of the "deleted" units was there. i exited and it turns out that i then had a train marine still in box, 3 extra halts and 5 extra cancels...... wtf is going on!!!! i tried to delete, save , and retry but this glitch keeps reoccuring. any ideas??? Edit: Also i have more than 1 command tab

    lol im not a big trigger kinda person. i can make a mean ability but when it comes to triggers im stumped lol. ty for the help. i applied your method and now all i have to do is make the rest which i made that before its just the hole unit die unit comes thing :P.

    im making a rpg and i need a trigger that can do the following: Make 1 unit per 25sec. Cant make more than 5 units. all units must die for more to spawn. if a hero enters the region and kills them all they will not spawn until he leaves and is gone for 25sec. Im moderate at working with just about everything but triggers. i did spend a good LONG time trying to get make this trigger happen but alas, my efforts were futial. i need this so i can make and release my new rpg Back to Arms!
