im trying to find a way that looks exactly like how blizzard's original wireframe looks. In case I did try what you mentioned there but never get a close result.
What could be the possible filter or process for photoshop to make wireframe images like blizzard did to zerg units?
I found it very hard to really achieve the same art style for zerg units by only add filters on their screenshots. Although protoss and terran unit's wireframes are way more easier to produce.
Last few days I was talking to Renee about earth goverment inside SC2 story, and due to what I've heard, I assume those 2 Ghosty-looking units are probablly from and for earth government. Far more advanced than terran but less advanced than toss, though their production ability can easily overwhelm all 3 races at once in SC2. However the earth government may never appear in SC games at all, maybe not even SC3.
That's a crystal?? lol i thought it's the third eye. It actually looked like a spider eye in the texture file but the UV somehow only caught half of it... but yes it's a good idea to make it blink like lava. XD
PS: I meant the belly lighting thing<sub>, when I tried to put a lot of them together, it is kind very catchy, which is good for ID, but need to be more subtle.</sub>

Press Ctrl + D to enable Raw data editing, it may seems chaotic but that's what Raw data is like.

I think this is final as I will move on to work on his attack effect models. Wish luck to me about the particle system.
