Is there a way that I can set my loading screen to have random tips like melee games do? I've already tried going to the Data Editor -> Game UI Data -> Loading Screen Help - Text. I've changed the text but the tips still wont get replaced or removed.
I ended up using the immortal's "Harden Shield" ability. It's not exactly what I'm asking for but it's the closest thing. If anyone knows how to trigger the protoss shield model affects, please let me know.
well if you carried over the protoss shield actors and junk they have it already. just get all that crap into your unit and its all set.
That doesn't seem to help what-so-ever. Exactly what actors, you need to be a bit more specific. If it really was that easy, I wouldn't be here asking for help. I've checked the protoss structures and I so far seen nothing about a shield. Are they built into the models or is there a way to set it to other buildings?
do you mean, how do you make terran buildings have the big blue sphere around them when shields are being damaged? that would have something to do with the actors of the shields that you are using.

Open up the fusion core's actor and under the Baselines field change the Stand animation to "Stand Work"
Thanks alot! Exactly what I asked for. You wouldn't happen to know if actors also make a turret rotate? I setup a sentry gun as a building and it doesn't seem to rotate like all the other turrets. Even after it attacks I find it going back to where it was orginally facing.
Where # is a wall and T is a turret. You need the second layer of walls to have a higher priority than the first layer of walls. That way, when the enemy gets the chance, it will prioritize the second layer. Then make the turrets have an even higher priority so it will prioritize the turrets over the second layer.
Sounds good but the problem is that the players will be creating the same structure for both layers of the walls.

I setup the Sentry Turret as a building and now it's no longer rotating in a circular motion like the other turrets. Exactly how do I make it do this?
