You may have seen me trolling around here with the name 'LegacyoftheConfederation.'
Well, I finally got my old name back, CURSE was kind enough to assist with a password reset (The SC2Mapster forum interface still appears to be broken).
LotC (Legacy of the Confederation) Single Player Campaign
I'll use this thread as my main news source on SC2 Mapster.
News:
12/5/10: New portrait posted on the IMAGES section of my project. The portrait is for Drealan, a Judicator in the Conclave of the Protoss. Episode 1 of LotC takes place about 350 years before the events in the Koprulu sector, leaving the Conclave completely intact at that time.
I know Blizzard doesn't have support yet for connected maps but...I've thrown up a bunch of content for the Legacy of the Confederation ("LotC") campaign just the same. You can see images of new units/portraits and hear voiceovers on my project page, but for short:
Full voicing (13 hours); new portraits for all characters; new in-game units; new buildings; fully voiced; custom music and sound effects.
Check it out and drop me a line on feedback. Just waiting for particle effects to be supported by third party or Blizz mod tools and then it's off to Beta.
Looking to find someone who can rig/animate some portrait models and import them for use into SC2 for a custom campaign I'm working on. This is a paid job by portrait model if you're interested. The custom campaign will be free to the community. If this first batch of portraits goes well, I will have a whole lot more for you to work on.
You will need to have access to Paypal to receive payment.
If interested, please email me (don't reply to this thread as I won't check it often) with a quote to rig/animate and format for import to SC2 each portrait (and later, unit models). I'm aware particles are having issues importing (at least up to this point).

If you were sleeping and a noise woke you up in the backyard. You look out the bedroom window and a Zergling just knocked down your fence?

@OutsiderXE
Hey there! Here is a rundown of where the project is to date.
Sound:
All music tracks have been composed or paid for and licensed royalty free
All voices (about 13 hours' worth) have been recorded for all 3 episodes
All sound effects have been created or licensed royalty free
Graphics:
All but two character portraits for Episode 1 are modeled and textured
No portraits are animated or imported into SC2
No in-game units are modeled for Episode 1 yet
No data editing complete yet to accommodate new units
Maps:
All gameplay objectives and trigger events have been planned as part of the dialogue scripts
No maps created yet; until the graphics piece is complete I don't want to create maps only to find the new unit models don't replace the old ones
Map work will include triggering and terrain.
So for Episode 1, I put it at 45% complete (with audio and audio editing constituting the bulk of that).
