    I'm looking to make an inventory similar to the one currently in Storm of the Imperial Sanctum, where the item slots are always open, rather than the terrible default inventory system. It also looks like the NOTD video on the front page has the same sort of idea in their inventory. Can someone please point me in the right direction? I tried searching for how to do it, but only found one old thread specifically related to this, and they never got an answer. Thanks.

    They seem fine the way they are. None of the contests have had a base requirement of being time consuming, some folks just make them seem that way when they devote all their waking hours to it, for whatever reason. That doesn't stop you from participating for fun though; you don't have to try and win them.

    No problem. Holding down ctrl with the object selected, then clicking and dragging around the object can rotate it too if you don't want to use the option screen.

    I'm an advocate of just learning by playing around in the editor, but for your question:

    To move, relocate, etc. units you've already placed, just set yourself to the layer of the object you want to move (doodads, units, regions, terrain, etc. it's at the top), click and hold the left mouse button over the object, and drag it wherever you want. You can see what you've got selected on the very bottom of the main editor screen (like "selection: marauder" etc.). To delete stuff, just hit the delete key while the object's selected. There's more options for stuff if you hit the enter key with something selected, one of which for doodads and units called "ignore placement requirements," can help you out if you find things aren't going where you want them to, or are jumping over the screen and whatnot. To clear your selection or reset your cursor, press spacebar.

    Also, pageup/pagedown moves doodads up and down. A bit more convenient than using the option screen, and combined with "ignore placement requirements," it lets you make some pretty cool stuff with doodads.

    In trigger actions, go to the objective section, and use "create objective" to create an objective, and set it to primary or secondary (secondaries are usually optional objectives). The options for deleting and modifying objectives are also in that same section. If you want to delete/edit objectives in a trigger separate from the one that created the objectives, then make a global variable, and set it to whatever objective you're looking to change.

    I haven't used transmissions before, but it looks as simple as just using the "send transmission" action, setting the unit you want it to come from, the name, and then the text.

    For events, I don't know whether you're referring to trigger events or actor events, or what particular aspect of either.

    I like something in pretty much every genre, but lately I've been pretty partial to 90s grunge/industrial rock. At the moment my favorite's probably Stabbing Westward. I also like trip-hop a lot too, Massive Attack, Portishead, Tricky, Recoil, Morcheeba, etc.
