Hi,
I'd like to keep my current unit selection(s) when I select an enemy. Is it even possible to have an enemy and a friendly unit selected at the same time? I'd just need the red/green circle under the unit to be visible as I'm using a custom interface. Is it possible to place a selection circle manually?
Hey, is there something like the Text Tag, but as an image instead of text? And what's the best way to move a Text Tag (or "Image Tag", if there is something the like) with a unit? Is there a "Unit Moves" trigger, because I think a timer is overkill for something like that? Thanks!
I'm trying to do something similar without success. I have hidden the standard GUI and therefore have to implement my own skill buttons. I'm wondering why there is no simple "Run Ability" action or the like which does the same as clicking on the ability button in the GUI oder pressing the hotkey. So what's the way to do? Or should I implement my skills 100% in the trigger editor without using abilities?
I have a problem getting the event to work, it just doesn't fire.
Portrait Click
Events
Dialog - Any Dialog Item is Clicked by Player Any Player
Local Variables
Conditions
(Used dialog item) == Location Button 1
Actions
UI - Display "looool" for (All players) to Chat area
I have to use "any dialog item", because if I click on it and look under variables, my Dialog Item variables simply don't show up... but even with any item and without the condition nothing happens. Any ideas?
I've looked through thousands of camera problem threads but could not find any solution. I just want the standard SC2 camera perspective, but fixed on a unit and following this unit without rotating/panning/whatever. If I use a timer and set the camera position manually multiple times per second, the FPS drops from 80 to 47 on my PC and I don't think that's good...
So is there any way for this with a simple one time setup, NO timers?

Sounds good, what's the name of the selection actor/model?

Ah thanks, I knew it was something like that. :P
My second question still stands though, as I would like to draw a marker over the head of specific units.

But what about SP maps? How do you set the player race before the game starts?

Strange, I've tried that multiple times, but it never worked. Guess somewhere there was another trigger that messed it up... thanks ;)

Okay. I think these libs are basically doing the same thing: http://starcraft-mapping.de/forum/trigger-entwicklungsforum-f55/unit-indexing-t749.html http://www.thehelper.net/forums/showthread.php?t=151444
Works for me, thanks. :)
