for this map im making i need to make an area a high ground without actually raising to with a cliff. and i need to be able to make buildings block your los. so far i dont know how to do that. if you can help that would be great. in the mean time ill try to figure it out myself.
so insted of having ground required, meaning you can only shoot ground, put it to allow. im pretty sure air is also allowed already so you can hit both.
ah i was messing around with my skills also and put the vortex model also. it would seem that the black circle only happens for the first one. the subsequent ones work but idk how to fix the first.
well heres a picture of the trigger. its just a create unit, add actor to it, and add to group. then at the end its kill the group. when i tryed it with only one units the actor disapears after the unit is killed. now it stays and the unit doesnt die.
so i have this trigger that makes units and adds them to a unit group then wait .75 secs, then kills the units in the unit group. so far i havent been able to kill them...
is there an easy way to make objects or units apear relative to a unit? like create an archon 5 units away from triggering unit. or am i going to have to use triggers to move points and use variables.
so i was messing with the high templars psi storm and gave it to a marine. and it didnt have the aoe indicator. i manage to do just that but the indictator is stuck on the marine and wont go away.
you see on the left is the marine with the thing i was talking about.
the effect starts to stack on the marine every time i cast the spell.

i figured out the los with building. i just changed the pathing footprint to doodad los. now i just need to figure out the high ground.
