The tooltips pull data from the catalog, not any particular unit. So it's not possible for them to dynamically update based on the state of the unit's behavior - only global upgrades will change the values. Sorry :(
If Starcraft 2 was an exact remake of BW in every way but with prettier graphics, most people would be very disappointed, while a few would be happy. By going down this route, Valve is aiming to capture the most competitive DoTA players while giving up any chance of capturing a market of people who don't already play DoTA (or its various clones.) This suggests to me that it's a pretty small project for Valve and not something they're sinking a ton of cash into.
Just published an update that fixed the issue where the wrong player would get refunded mana after an invalid placement. Also adjusted the difficulty levels a bit - casual got easier and hard and brutal got harder.
Damage effects have a "No Absorb Shields" flag which causes them to bypass shields. I wouldn't recommend using modify unit to cause damage as that will not work correctly with damage response effects and triggers based on units receiving damage.
Yes your map can get taken down for using copyrighted assets, although it seems to be okay to use assets from other Blizzard games. It won't automatically get banned though, someone would have to complain about it, so depending on how obscure the music you want to use is, it might fly under the radar. And if the map is taken down all you would have to do would be to strip the copyrighted material and they'd probably allow it back up again.

You need to remove and recreate all your game variants.

Catalog Field Value Get (Unit, Convert Game Link To String(Unit Type of (Triggering Unit)), "CostResource[Minerals]")
that returns a string which you can then convert to int or text as needed.

Yeah it's a bug that's been around forever. Use catalog functions as a workaround.

Just a heads up, popularity was reset on the US realms with the 1.1.2 patch.

@RailTracer: Go
Thanks for the bug report, I'll look into it. Here's a video I made showing some early game mazing strategies:

Anyone else think it's lame that they're doing an exact remake?

If you're testing the map from the editor it always does that. The melee loading screen will show up when playing on battle.net.

That was really awesome of you. Thanks again.

This is a map review forum. You don't need to have a "point" to criticize a map; it's the entire purpose of this forum.

Didn't frenzy just tint the unit red? I don't remember it having any sort of persistent visual effect but then again it's been a while since beta.
