Okay that sounds right but (sorry if i'm moving you back in your discussion) - at what point is the game feeding you bad information - as in when is 3 returned instead of 1 (or when is setting something to player 1 slot actually referring to the player who joined first instead of player 3)?
You have the pane that holds all the events/conditions/locals/actions - when you select an action there is a detailed summary of everything in that action in the pane below, you change it from within there
Unit Group - Pick each unit in (Archon units in (Entire map) owned by player Any Player matching Excluded: Missile, Dead, Hidden, with at most Any Amount) and do (Actions)
Actions -
Unit - Order (Picked unit) to ( Attack (Random Living unit from (Probe units in (Entire map) owned by player Any Player matching Excluded: Missile, Dead, Hidden, with at most Any Amount))) (Replace Existing Orders)

Okay - I'll have another go ^^
Team 1
Slot 1:Player 3 - entered 3rd
Slot 2:Player 1 - entered 1st
Team2
Slot 3:Player 4 - entered 4th
Slot 4:Player 2 - entered 2nd
And in the editor there is a unit placed as player 1 - and you are saying that the function Owner of Unit returns 1 (player slot 2)?

Wow now i'm confused :D
An exmaple of the lobby:
Team 1
Player 1 - entered 3rd
Player 2 - entered 1st
Team2
Player 3 - entered 4th
Player 4 - entered 2nd
In game:
A unit placed in the editor as player 1 (the owner of this unit is player 1) etc
So then you can happily say player 1 is in team 1 no?

So what does the function Owner of Unit return?
If player slot 1 red joined the game 3rd does it return 1 or 3?

Just a thought - would this work?
(Assuming you have at least 1 unit added to the map for each player)
playerArray[1] = Owner of unit (The unit on the map that is owned by the person to be player one)
Then you can do what you want for teams:
Add playerArray[1] to player group (Team 1)...etc...

Best wait until release, the game will ship with the goliath unit in the editor.

Another one to try then is:
Event:
Unit loads cargo
Condition:
Triggering unit = bunker
Unit type of Triggering cargo unit = marine
Action:
Modify bunkerMarines + 1

Try the function - Transport property of unit - that might work

Edit: Glad to hear you got it working :)

Your order is order targeting an item - you want to target a unit. Also make sure you get the right attack command, there are two I think =/

So I have a map created with the US version of the game. On release I will then have an GB version of the game..
When I go to load the map with my new GB version of the game, does anyone know whether I am going to lose a lot of data due to the region difference?
If this is the case is it possible to safely localise the map before hand to avoid a loss?
Any insight is much appreciated.
