Hi all, made a thread about my map already but think it was in the wrong forum!
Have been trying to get into melee map making, I have made a few over the past couple days and would appreciate some feedback.
In this first image, I am undecided on the main base layout, which is why the top and bottom base are different (They will obviously be symmetrical in the final cut). I would really like to know what base you think is better. I believe the top on has an easier to defend natural and leads itself onto a third nicely too (In the top base, the 4th expansion should probably be 3rd.) The bottom one has to defend its natural from two directions.
I am unsure of the placement of the towers and am also debating putting the 5th base up on a cliff with a narrowish ramp; I think it is currently very tough to defend. Oh, and textures/doodading is also a WIP.
Also, here's a larger image. Would appreciate any feedback, pretty new at this.
