    HI!! first of all, i'm really surprised to see people talikng about this map (even if it's just you two xD) anyway, it's good to know that people show some interest . About my post, i used to rewrite it, to not make double or triple-post talikng about updates and stuff.. that's why m post doesn't have so much information.

    Anyway, will you update the info in the first post to show the progress of the game??, also you should say something about the new forums, the chat channel, and all the other webs about this map. I've another question; are you InsOmi?? or you know someone with that nickname in battlenet?? he's the uploader of the map; it's that you Siretu? he talked to me last time, but i was playing with a friend, and couldn't response him.

    Now, talking about the map... about the hacking feature, the idea it's great!! but it seems pretty hard to use for non-programmers users, and when u infiltrate into the enemy's cruiser, u'll want to make some direct damage like steal minerals or kill someone; i see it as a great tool, and i'll try to use it when it's implemented (to unstabilice the core and make them blow up :D), but i don't think it will be used so often.

    Now that you're implementing weapons for the boarding, plz, don't use friendly fire, because it will be used to kill people in a console to get that console xD.

    I've also read all about the green minerals that you're talking about, right now, i think it's a great method to add some early fights with the vessels, but as u said before, the one who takes it, has a HUGE advantage in that moment, so now that you're adding boarding, you could add some orbital instalations, that can be captured and gives green minerals over time; of course,you can add this stations for every kind of mineral, and to not abuse it from the begining, it can be really well protected; (so you need some good equipment to achieve it). Also, there can be some random green minerals all over the place like in the WIII map with the purple mineral.

    For last, about creating new modes and diferent ways to play... i'm not agree, the point of the game it's quite simple: Destroy the enemy's cruiser. if you start adding diferent missions to it, you'll convert this map into somekind of minigame arenas, and i don't like minigames arenas. What i want it's to manage a cruiser with my friends in a team, and launch missiles, fire lasers, mine, upgrade, and boarding, and... well all the stuff you can imagine with a cruiser, but i don't like to have diferent main missions, maybe, you can implement those as secondary objectives, and maybe they grant some bonus to the first team who achieves them, but the main objective has to be always the same: to crush the enemy's cruiser!!!

    Hi!! i see this post isn't correctly actualizated anyway, i'll help Siretu.

    Recently, he opened a page in wordpress to discuss all the new stuff he's doing and he's actualizaing it quickest than this post. Here is the direction:

    Great news!!! the map has been released!!! at least!!! :D right now i just now that it has been just in the US servers, and it's on page4 of custom games; but i don't know about the EU version.. anyway, you'll find a really good Tutorial in the Worpress page that i posted before.

    Hi!! i've replied your PM anyway, it's a Great!! project!! u've made a HUGE progress.... and i'll try to help u with everything i can...

    what are u doing first?? are u going to make the same upgrades that in the original map?? i mean.. same projectiles.. same skills... same consoles....

    and how works the second floor!!!??? it's a great idea!!! but... it's fast to get there??doesn't it slow the game? and.... isn't better that in the second floor there would be the "Ship bay"? and about the mining vessel it's ok to use the model of the medvac, but isn't more apropiate maybe (just maybe) the colonial ships used to evac the poeple on the first mission of ariel Hanson? all of this are opinions.. don't take it too serious.

    Thanks for everything and i'd like to see it released soon!!

    Hi! well, first of all this will be my last post in a time..i've exams in the university right now and then i have to find a job and until... August.. maybe september i will not return to this.

    About te weapons; yes, i see that there are 3 kinds of weapons.And what i want it's to use my weapon's EFFECT i mean, just the image where u see a beam.. do you understand?

    the resource unit, it's haversteable, not refined; the weapon i made it's legacy. the next time i'll try that all that fields are in the weapon actor? the Unit? or in the weapon??

    I'm already autorefining it in miself... i don't drop minerals any where... but i can't fit the effect in the ability. The weapon don't work too; i'll be watching some ability creators tutorial, and if you know how to apply effects to the gather/Harvest ability just tell me!! any other useful information to make weapon will be wonderfull too.

    ok; i'm totally dumb.... the effect to Harvest is an ability.... sooo i have to make an effect/hability with the one i like and i'm done ^^

    nah; imposible to add some kind of effects with the abilities; i try to use some custom made but it doesn't worked; dunno what else to do; maybe i'm wrong with the ability...

    Hi! Thanks for the help.. but this time didn't work... i modified the "Attachment - Launch Attachment Query - Methods" in the actor Voidray's attack and i have the beam when i attack, but not when i Harvest. i've tried but i think it's actor's event problem. Also, now i've seen too that in the attack animation appear those little rays that "charge" the beam, can i modify those one too??? too hard to modify all that stuff.

    so i think that too, i'm going to create my own weapon,i'll take the mothership's beam and i'll make an ability to fire another powerfull beam (the Driller Beam from the campaign). but don't know yet how to link that with Harvest ability so when i harvest i see that animations.

    Sorry if i make u a lot of troubles; but i'm starting with the editor and when i solve 1 thing; 50 moreapperas suddenly :$

    YES!! finally!!! i did it!! i just have to manage and change the field in the flags!! the.. "Fount name"?? don't know the name in english; i'm using SCII in Spanish :D. Thanks! finally i did it!! thx a lot! really!

    Next thing, it's transform a poor SCV in a powerful Phoenix with the voidray's beam to harvest that minerals and the more powerful it's the beam, the more minerals it get's, but that will be activated not automatic.

    I already have the SCV with the phoenix model, the weapon attached (i replaces his cutter with the beam directly) but when i harvest (and it does ok) i don't see the blue beam drilling the Rock.. i don't know what to do; i suppose it's a event's actor problem about link the ability harvest, with the effect of the voidray.. but i don't know how that works.. help!

    thx again; and i'll be posting news if i get stuck or something

    ok; i've done all the steps, but that one, the quoted one; it's the big problem; how to link it? there's no actor field when i click on the unit and i can't find the evets; the events are just in the actor fields...

    another thing... this it's mainly done because i wanted to change the model of the minerals; and try to create a unit to use the Data editor.... i'll try now that the rock flies; because it will be an asteroid! if i have problems with that i'll pos it too; but right now, i just need that last step!! plz! help again! and thx a lot!!

    Hi! thx for the answer!! i've looking the events page... OMG it's so confusse, there's a lot of stuff and things doesn't make sense to me.

    About the Unit.. yes; it's harvesteable, and i already have the actor created; the Behaviour too.. but i fail when i try to link those 2... and if i try to ad the unit resource to link those 2... it's there when i'm lost with all the options...

    i've been looking the link too... there some examples.. but the actor events looks so hard to understand to me :S any other wiki/tutorial page related to actor events?

    Hi!! I'm new on the Galaxy editor.. i've been working in a map a bit, terraining it, triggering it but at the most important thing that is to create my super flying destructor command ship i'm lost; i've seen hundreds of tutotrial and here's what i know about Data editor:

    I know how to make a model, how to include it in an actor.... how to modify Behavior values, so the unit does what i want.. and that's all.

    What i'd like to know is when i have my actor with a model... how i link that actor with a Behaviour, with a Unit i can't find anything clear on th tutorial section.. if you have another way to make units taking any model and building from it a super Hero, then.. please! let me know!!.

    About my map; what i'm tring to create right now it's a Rock (called Asteroid) who has inside minerals.. so i don't know how to place mineral behaviour in a created Asteroid Actor.(Later i'll have to make a super ship with a lot of abilities, but i'll ask for that in it's moment.)

    Sry for my english, and pease help me!just with a tutorial (a good one) it would be wonderful T_T.

    thx you 2!!! i already tried the Chiquihuite version... but i've problems with the point of the unit; for example; to go from west to east, x position it's moved from 200(in a map 0x200 x example) to 0.... but i don't know how to let Y coordenade offset...the ecuation will be something like:

    move to the point (X =0 ,Y = Y) SOLVED!!!! the function Y:Y it's in the Galaxy editor i just was looking and i found it!! thx!! it's possible.. now i just have to test it... thx!!!! thx a lot!!!

    for the IliIilI...move th terrain?? kind of hard... if i had 1 ship, it's ok; but in my case, i have 2 ships.. and every ship take his own direcction.. so i don't see it possible... oh! and the camera it's permanently looking the ship, so you can't see around, for that u have u'r ship scans :D. so the border it's ok

    Hi! i've been searching for a good place to post it... maybe i'm in a wrong place and i should place it in triggers... but i'm not sure.

    i'm making a map about battles in the skies, and i'd like that whenthe objects reach the top of the screen, they appear in the bottom in a relative position.... viceversa; and the same for left and right.... something like a map without limits!! so my ships will be navigating all the screen :D

    Anyone knows how to do it?? And sry if i posted this in the wrong place, but i think it's a terrain problem...

    Em.. i didn't read all the 8 pages of post... but i've been playing anyway, just a few questions.... my opinion it's that this is like the Starbattle but with bigger (and not so skilled) ships;

    have u ever heard about a map called from "Cruiser commander"?? there u control everything from the inside of the ship(u get minerals from asteroids with mining airships, u refine them, build the missiles, upgrade the ship with better scans, with more power, with the power u can make little bots that helped to fix the ship. when the ship was damged the zones damaged burned.. all from the inside, also u control the power of the shields, the power for the speed, have multiple airships to control, 5 players(a captain, 2 engineers and 2 pilots) did u tried to something like that or this is a Starbattle 2.0.

    About Cruiser comander there was a team with a project called "Fleet of the Pass" that it's a conversion of the WCIII mapbut i think it's dead.

    What means the state "CURRENTLY NOT LIVE"?? u stopped the project? I could play it on EU servers but it's a long tim since isn't updated.it's because of that?

    sincerely, the project it's ok, but it seems a starbattle 2.0 nothing new....
