As asked in the title, I can't seem to find a way to guage how many charges left on a specific ability a target has in a validator. Anyone know how I might accomplish this?
Played it about a week ago, it was fun (guess I'm not the only one going for the L4D theme =P)
It seems too easy though, eventually you can just crank the heroes up so much that you can leave them on hold position and pretty much beat the game o_O
I'm having a similar problem...there doesn't seem to be a way to fix an attachment point to a model it seems, I've been poking around with the actors and "Attachment Set Position From" but I don't think thats quite what I'm looking for.
Some models just have no attachment points at all >_<
Well the problem is even the default UI lags custom maps...I don't think there is any such solution to the lag, even using default controls there is a minor noticeable delay. Maybe you just got lucky and managed to play it when it wasn't very laggy on bnet?
No he's right. In the trigger conditions change it to >= 3.
But in the Pick Each Unit in group loop, see where it says "At Most", change that to 3. It will stop at 3 units.
Unit Group - Pick each unit in (Any units in Buy Marine owned by player (Triggering player) matching Excluded: Missile, Dead, Hidden, with at most Any Amount)

bump.
Rather, how do I change the attach point for say "Target" on an actor? That seems to be the problem. The attach points are screwy.
Nvm...looks like this requires a little work in 3ds max to set the attachment points properly.

Well, not necessarily. With the way BNet lags WASD games I'm more inclined to say WASD games aren't as fun :/

The biggest thing you can do to avoid causing your map to lag is not putting in WASD.
