    It's "look at" behavior, and could be a nice feature for 3d turret, bit it possibly the most bugged thing in the whole sc2, I fucked with it all day to make it work.

    If you mean those rainbow flares on shell faces, it's environment map's effect, it "slides" along the surface while view angle changes, and supposed to fake that model reflects surrounding stuff. I just used rainbow texture.

    No i really meant about that big tank that was actually aiming up and down, depending on targeting a zergling or an air unit.. that would feel perfect on my model too..

    Couldn't hand-draw normals, because details were too small, there's also some uv-mapping imperfectnesses, but after all it looks unbad. Made non-metallic parts a bit tinted with team color, also darkened diffuse to make speculars play better. Good quality of animations together with higher poly count make this model look noticeably better than WoW models, even though texture resolution is as low as most WoW models hasve, 256x256.

    Would you like to add this guy to your assets?

    and.. 3ds max needs to be bought..? sorry guys, but i'm used to war3 and its easy-to-use tools. and as far as i know, there is no such thing for sc2 yet..

    it'll be really, really much better if someone handles the rigging and other-than-diffuse textures for me..

    well that above is currently my only model that i made purposefully for sc2.. for all other (war3) models i can freely link you to my resources Not too sure which ones are sc2-good.. but i have done this or that, to have a small showcase

    any other model that i've tried doing has been stumped because i just cannot do it all myself

    Uh.. guys? I came here to meet new people AND get something done for SC2.. don't you want to help me finish something, and have it stay in your site? I have no problem crediting everyone, as long as i'm satisfied with how the model turns out >_>

    I already tried contacting one of you, and that just.. like it didn't happen at all.. ..so much for me being someone in Hive.. >_>

    Looks great, but the jar with the head seems a bit too large for the body to me :D

    there's only much that i can do with editing zealot's model and having it resemble the dragoon's insides, from SC1 (which drains and refills too). Everything is done mesh-wise and i'll not really change anything, it's how i want it. Camera will take care of the rest, really.. also i made it that way because i thought of the 'jar' to be also used as a passive 'unit' as well as portrait :)

    so.. would anyone feel interested in rigging and animating this for sc2? :) mind you that i have a few specific things i'd want added to this guy

    How are you all doing? :) how's this site? who's the most active? I just thought to Introduce in here.

    Yup, It's Veratai (like here and in deviant art), but I'm also Misha on Hive Workshop. I'm a dude who does models from scratch or heavily edits those already made by Blizz guys, Buut, animating, texture-making, and implementing models into starcraft 2, are not my strong sides.. so.. who would be able to help me finish up my cinematic Protoss dragoon model? it probably could be done with Immortal's anims, but then again, i would really like if the animations were custom to a degree, from start to finish

    gotta warn you though that i am kiiinda a picky person =/ not content with just 'working model'.. so better that people know me well, right from the start ^^

    EDIT: and.. how can i get rid of this 'regular shmoe' thing? O_o
