I am getting "too many threads" error for this trigger:
Event: any unit enters the playable map area
Condition: unit type of unit = observer
Action: attach actor Force Field to triggering unit
...so in summary I want to attach forcefield model to ALL observers
but it seems when there are multiple observers in the game
this trigger will fail to work. Any suggestions?
if you are creating more by triggers, why don't you immediatly after them being created add the force field there in the same trigger?
Also depending on how many others you have, you could also create them with triggers in the same manner, just place them with triggers at a point. set up points around your map to do so.
Otherwise for the pre placed ones
Map Initialisation
Unit Group - Pick each unit in (Observer units in (Entire map) owned by player Any Player matching Excluded: Missile, Dead, Hidden, with at most Any Amount) and do (Actions)
actions - attatch force field to actor of unit
If you feel up for it, I would add the force fields to the observers in data so they come with it standard, rather than worrying about it with triggers. but that option may be a bit harder.

yea its adding it infinitly as far as I can tell.
why not. add all the observers to a unit group and then use a for each unit in unit group - > attach actor force field.
that is assuming these observers are allready placed? if they are being built. then you want to run a different event
