StarCraft: Knights is a(n upcoming) campaign revolving around Isaac Rogers; a former marine of the United Earth Directorate's defeated fleet in the Korpulu Sector. Although I'll spare you a blurb on it, Isaac Rogers' has joined the Knights of Freedom; an insurrectionist faction of high-prominence in the Korpulu Sector.
However, the Knights of Freedom have become the Federation of New Washington a loose federation of obscure Fringe Worlds on the outskirts of the Korpulu Sector away from Protoss, Dominion, Zerg... and UED space. This federation is run by James Koiter; a weary man of notorious repute and a pivotal figure in the Korpulu Sector; having aided in Arcturus Mengsk's rise to power.
Although the former Magistrate of Mar Sara has conformed to becoming the media darling and politician, his brother, Erin is a man of practical military necessity and adopts a mantra of "no matter the cost" much like Arcturus Mengsk. Erin, along with Federation military command has sent Rogers with his intimidating force of former UED soldiers and the former flagship of the United Earth Directorate the D.S.S. Aleksander, to Tarsonis. Tarsonis' worth to the Federation is in the form of the Dominion's apparent reinterest in the former capital of the Confederacy of Man; with it being the location of a Moebius Foundation dig-site and of a growing colony in a newly rejuvenated sector of the otherwise dead planet.
Isaac; a cynic, has not devolved into nihilism yet; though he sees little point in life as his comrades dwindle; and the clarity of what he is fighting for.
RECRUITING FOR:
Highest priority:
- 2D and 3D graphics artists. The required work to be done includes creation of character models amongst other things many assets will be reused for environments and sets (e.g. the Jukebox, Starmap, et cetera). If I sound a bit unclear; I mean that basically people who can model and animate characters, environments and the like and reuse existing assets such as the story-mode marine model. Also; by 2D I also mean UI, et cetera.
Also of note is the starmap: this will need assets for it as well.
- Concept artists: Most especially character concepts. The aesthetic of the mod is old-school StarCraft gritty/dark but a bit brighter and combined with a Vietnam war aesthetic and theme to it.
- Other:
Mission designers, terrainers, triggerers, etc. These are not of the highest priority but since I can't do the graphics, the foremost mentioned comes at the utmost priority.
