Hello!
I'm currently working on a War of the Nations map. Where countries from our world fight each other.
Each country will have it's abilities and acces to various units.
Since I'm not really that good with terraining I was wondering if there is someone out there that would love to help.
You will get fully credited for it!
What are the requirements?
- 4 players (where 2v2 is also possible).
- Melee style.
- The map has to look like it belongs to the human race (not on a roof like Metalopolis or in a city).
- There have to be 2 ''Landing Spots'' where players have to build a Supply Depot on a certain location to own the Landing Spot where they gain resources from every now and then from Colony Ships.
If I forgot to mention anything please let me know and if there are any questions then feel free to ask!
I may be interested in helping out with this, but I'm unfamiliar with "War of the Nations." Does the terrain need to be symetrical or can it be asymetric? Also, what size?
War of the Nations is not an excisting game (atleast not that I know), but that was the name I'm giving the map, might change in the future if I can think of a better name.
I'm not english but symetrical means that all sides look the same? I want to have to game quite balanced so noone has a advantage/disadvantage because the terrain is different.
With size I was thinking of 192-192

Hello, I wouldn't mind giving it a go if you could provide some more details: lots or few doodads, flat and plain terrain, or cliffs and lots of divides, big bases or small, etc. from your description it sounds like you want it in wasteland or jungle, ya?
- The map probably shouldn't have ''too'' many doodads so it won't get laggy. Doodads shouldn't take up too much room in the map (so for exmaple that you can't pass it or doodads taking away your view on the field).
- The map is basicly a Melee map so it should have strategic locations. The main base should obviously provide a little bit more room then the expansions just like in other Melee maps.
- Wasteland or Jungle can do yes as long as it looks like humans work/live there. It may also have the style like the missons: The Evacuation, Cuttroat or Media Blitz.
