Currently have a data editor who has been on the same unit for almost 2 weeks. he doesnt know how to share a map on the team page. hes good for his skill level but then hes also very slow in producing anything.. we do not agree on so many things that I'll probably do the work myself.. unless I find a new data-man.
currently we have 5 people working on the map.
1 DarcZaFire-Terrain. Finished
2 Atlas-Data. made 3-4 classes plans on making 9, maybe more.
3 Zyi-Modeler/data/terrain. if he is on and we are not, he does what is needed.
4 DarlD-Lead Triggerer. currently making advanced dialog
5 o3210-Europe night time extra triggerer. Whatever Darl needs done but ddnt have time to finish, gets passed on to this guy. Also very good triggerer.
Msg me if interested. I'll show u the map and fill you in with any questions you may have.
Okay, i'm not on this team, so correct me if i'm wrong about anything, but here's where I see an issue..
As I was searching through the forums, I found 3 of your posts about "Team Genesis" which seemed interesting when I saw it it the teams list but as I see you're making these posts, it isn't. So far i've found three of these posts where it looks like you're trying to replace team members because they're inactive or something. Here's the 3 I found..
I don't really get into things like this, but that's pretty ridiculous. It might be true, you formed a team that happened to have 3 inactive members.. but I suspect that you're pretty anxious whatever project you all are working on. Out of these 3, you claimed that 2, I think a triggerer and a data editor, were disrespectful, though is going behind their backs as a "team leader" to try and replace them really that respectful? If they are actually difficult to work with, and are a pain, then why not tell them about it rather than make posts trying to replace them.. it just makes more drama dude.
This seriously is kinda annoying, and i'm really trying to help you before someone gets pissed off. I'm not great at editing, so maybe I am wrong about something, but its' confusing and frustrating to search for something on the site, and find someone advertising for replacement editors. Also, it looks like you're doing terrain, if that's the case then why are you trying to replace other members who are doing triggers and stuff when you're only supposed to worry about terrain? Sure, as a team leader, you have the right to want to see progress and get something done, but if someone is working slow or is simply not good enough, why not just talk to them about it directly and tell them what you're posting on here. If they still don't listen, then fine, kick them out or do what you need to do. I find it highly unlikely that you as a team leader found 3 lazy/inactive editors and you have -nothing- to do with it. If I was on your team, I would certainly be pissed off, so I can only imagine how 3 others might feel. I'm not here to start anything, i'm just trying to help. All I ask is that you keep what appears to be editor-drama to a minimum.
.... Each team has their own private forums. Can you see any of the posts? Do you know if they have or haven't talked about the issues? The posts are just talking about needing some members. Shit happens, people join with the intention of doing full time/part time work, and then they find that life gets in the way and it(life) has priority over editor for alot of people. Some people might feel overwhelmed if there's a "deadline" or expectations of them if it's just for a hobby. (I myself do Data work as hobby only, and I hate the idea of a deadline for a hobby... I will finish what I started when I want, or just drop it)
Editor-Drama? I see no one from Team Genesis stirring any drama.
First link is fine, there's no drama in there in the slightest.
Second link CLEARLY states that DarlD suggested he be replaced because he's got too much stuff to do. Staying on the team as the lead/full time Triggerer and being unable to do it because of time/whatever else, and not saying anything about it, would just be bad on DarlD's part, and would delay the project longer than it needs to be. No drama.
Third link is to this post... clearly stated that the Data guy, though good, perhaps is slow(for reasons currently unknown), and they disagree on alot of stuff and that Darc feels he will be the one to have to finish the Data work. At the most, negligible drama.
Seems like you are blowing things out of proportion.
