Yea, they don't really care about it. But that depends on.. if you plan to finish this map and to ultimately sell it, then you better change the name. Because companies don't receive it very well if somebody tries to make money with their copyrighted stuff.
It even becomes iffy with taking donations.
Doh, well that's not true. Interplay still exists. They were / are in a little financial crisis, but they're even working on a (allegedly Fallout) MMORPG called Project: V13 at the moment. Supposed to come out 2012 lol.
Also, the copyright for the name "Fallout" isn't void. Interplay has sold it to Bethesda, that's why they were able to make Fallout 3. In return Interplay got the rights to develop a Fallout-themed MMO and financial help.
It really might be a good idea to change the name and any key names in the map (cities, G.E.C.K., etc)

Good idea, but I hope you'll change it so you don't have to target the enemy's feet to hit him ^.^
