Its a very simple escape map. Avoid being walked over, bring key to blocking object to blow it up (Yes, Key's these days) And find your way to the Medivac. Not really satisfied with it, cant find a way to base triggers on terrain so I'd have to add regions all over the place (wich obviously I didnt) If I find the time this week I'll add a better map for the competition, but for now I'll upload this one here I tried to do a video, but it ends up being 4GB large (for only 4 minutes) and I cant seem to get it smaller, so if anyone is free to make one for me, please do so.
The problem is that in my case, I always needed the projectiles to go right so that I make a Launch Missile effect with a (500, 0) offset off the Source unit. I have no idea how I would make the projectile go indefinitely in the direction the Source unit is facing.
Oh no! Ugly hordes of Aliens have suddenly come out of nowhere ready to trudge across your turf and reduce your Home Base to smithereens. Collect Solar Energy to power up an army of friendly Guys and keep those pesky aliens off your turf.
Unfortunately, this was the time I had for this submission. There are a few bugs that will occasionally occur but it should be playable. I'd like to emphasize that I tried straying away from using the Trigger Editor as much as possible: In fact, it is only used for the UI, initialization, spawning units and Victory/Defeat. The rest, such as the sounds and unit behaviours have been done using the Data Editor.
I've been working on this for a whole day now since I won't have time to finish the map this week. I've been wanting to do this since the Editor came out and the Minigame Contest gave me the chance to do it. I won't say exactly what it is yet, but I'm just going to link in four screenshots. The video and the map should be ready by tomorrow hopefully.
I'm quite impressed with what the editor allows you to do; and only in the span of a day.
Just a small tip that will surely save you a lot of work in the future: You can set Triggers to be Initially Off by selecting them on the left and toggling "Initally On". Like that, you don't need to switch them all off in your initialisation trigger. :)
I think you forgot to attach your map.

So, download the map and ENJOY!
The music is from PopCap's Plants vs. Zombies.
