What i know is that you need a dds file for textures .(There's a plugin for photoshp to allow dds export) . In 3dsmax, in material editor you can choose to check- uncheck "use alpha as color" ( or something like that).
In 3dsmax i get this error when i import a model previously exported with m3 plugin:
Transforming bones...
ERROR# Bone animation failed!
No ""findItem"" function for undefined
Set up bones bindpose
Set up bones base pose
With sc2 original models it doesn't happen, only with exported one.
My 3dsmax 2010 is updated to last hotfix.

I found a problem in exporting Death Eviscerate animations
Also the human corpse ( the piece of meat and bones ) isn't exported well
Tigerija now i have service pack 2 and i installed all c redistrib but the prob is still here.
