Do you mean uv space match? Just make sure alpha and color channels match on the texture. If alpha is black, color channels' color doesn't matter, but if you wand darker color, make gray alpha and dark colors. And make sure there's no emissive team color present.
I suppose you have .max source of the model and use Art Tools.
Alpha channel of the texture decides the proportion of team color in diffuse. The darker, the more it's team colored. Also, you can use any texture channel as an emissive team color.
