Sorry I keep spamming the thread. But I guess its always good to have these things documented.
I created a new requirement that had
Show > NOT
. > OR
Upgrade 1
Upgrade 2
Added that as the requirement for the first unit in the list.
When either of the upgrades were done, the first unit disappeared, and the relevant unlocked unit below it took its place. (seperate single requirements for each of those).
Working perfectly.
Thanks Spool.
Edit: Thanks Funky. You just replied as I was typing this. It wasn't that I couldn't find the OR statement, its that I was trying to use it differently than the editor intended. Its basically an OR array, not a statement itself. Now that I understand, its all good :)
Actually, I think I understand now.
Haven't tried it yet, but I need to do a "Show" option for the Marine for when the upgrade is NOT met.
So when it IS, the Marine will disappear, right?
I've done a bit of research, but I can't seem to apply what I'm reading to my situation.
I obviously need to use requirements, but I'm having trouble getting them working as I want. I'm also not sure if I need to make use of restricted and or suppressed options.
I'm wanting to have 3 build unit buttons stacked on a single spot on a command card.
Unit 1
Unit 2
Unit 3
I want unit 1 to be the initial option. However I'd like either Unit 2 or Unit 3 to jump to the top when a certain research\upgrade requirement is met.
How can I do this?
Something like this
So for instance, once I've researched X, or build a techlab for example, I'd like the button to change from Marine to Marauder.
Thanks for your help.

What I'm trying to do is 'slightly' different.
Basically first unit upgrades\evolves into ONE of the other two choices. So thats why I need the OR.
If either of the upgrades have been researched, the first unit needs to disappear, and the relevant upgrade for the unit needs to take its place.
Although what I've learnt here will also give me the option of creating a double tiered upgrade path should I wish to use that down the track :)
YAY! Everything works :)

Why wont the requirement editor allow me to field TWO statements.
I want to do
Show If <Upgrade X is completed> OR <Upgrade Y is completed>
But I can either add an OR node, or a Count Upgrade node, but not both. WTF? :\
Edit: OH!! BOTH statements need to be under the OR tree. Well.... that's not normally how programming is done. :\ Silly layout!

Thanks for that Spool.
How do I hide things?
I'm new to requirements, and I can only see "Use" and "Show"?
